the before is with a HRC kit and a venom pipe, the after is with porting, +1 exhaust valves, 13:1 cp piston, and carb bored to 42mm.

sorry about this, I can't seem to get the dynoruns to upload, it says it is to big, I'll try later, anyway, it was 44hp, 30tq, and now its 50.5hp and 32.5tq

hey dude get a photoshop account takes like 2 min to make one and it resizes all of the photos for you or you can edit them to what ever size you want. or send them to me via e-mail and i can post them for you if you don't want to make the account
D-Rock
ok, I think I got it, what do you guys think?

this the before and after

I had Cameron at Red Line Racing do my build, I rode it last weekend and was very pleased with it.
Pgreenlaw
Excellent numbers for a relatively cheap stock bore build!

I am wondering if that dyno is a little on the conservative side. My reasoning for this is most 06+ HRC with pipe TRX's dyno around 46HP. Although maybe your rings were worn on your stock piston.

Either way, nice build!

thanks
I've heard that his dyno is a little conservative.
when he pulled my motor apart, he said everything looked great, he said it didn't look like there was any power losing wear in it at all
Kip
Camerons dyno is DEF conservative. The reason being, notice his runs are all in SAE, most go by STD correction factor or higher.

Mine pulled like 53/32 on SAE and 55/33 on STD. Im going back to cams ASAP to dyno my new pipe and do some intake testing. We will see how much more i can squeeze out of it.

Great numbers for the build. You have a little more comp, and i have a little more carb. Would be a great race for sure. Im excited to see what some changes will do.

Cam is a great guy, i would reccomend him to anyone.

How did you end up getting the runs electronically?

I had him email the runs to me, then I had to save them as a jpeg file, they were to big to post on here otherwise.

Cam is a great guy, and I would reccomend him to anyone too. I told him that I didn't want anything radical, just a good dune motor, I took it out last weekend, and I love it. I need to gear it up a little though.

Cam is trying to talk me into getting a fci intake for it, says it would be worth another 1 - 2 hp and I would still keep the good torque.

He should or through my new fci on it for ya to see how it would do. he has my bike there now installing the intake and doing some tuning. I was running a modded esr and we through a fci on it and did a few passes and it gained 2hp and 1.25ft/tg all the way up the curve. Congrats on the build im glad u r happy. If u call him and have him convert his read out to standerd you may pick up 1-2 hp and about 1.5 ft/tq. Everyone else usually post std # but camerons not real big on the #thing moreso on the butte dyno. I wil go out on a limb and say that if u ride florence that u will be beating many bikes with alot higher #s then you sheet shows and its going to feel good. We will have to try to hook up this summer and do some riding. LATER D.J.

P.S. If you want to dyno ur bike with a fci to see how it does let me know u r welcome to use mine. IM only 15 minutes from camerons so I could run it by.

one of the main reasons that I didn't put an intake on it is so that I can keep my airbox, just in case I ever in the mud which is highly unlikely, but I don't want to rule it out.

my question is, can I put an intake on it and still keep the stock airbox?

and Rebel, where are you at? I'm onlyabout 15 min away from Cam too, I'm in Lebanon.
Hitokiri
the second sheet has a hard drop in power in the higher rpm's i dont like curves on the second sheet but thats for my style of riding
miller450r
its not comparing apples to apples on the rpm's , did you do the green wire mod? both builds have a sim curve to 9,000

by the way, what are the differences between red and green on the after sheet? the 51 sheet that is...

I think that the hard drop in power that you are looking at is where he let off of the throttle at about 10,500rpm, is that what you were looking at?
fourfiftyare
look at the rpm's on the bottom of each sheet, that will help you understand lol

in the red graph, that was as I took it to him, with a HRC kit and a venom exhaust, the green graph is after, he ported and polished the head, cp 13:1 piston, +1 exhaust valves, and the carb bored out to 42mm by sredum.

it does have the HRC sub harness, so yeah, it does have the green wire mod. I am still running the 06 HRC camshaft too.
miller450r
thanks, what i meant was, on that 51 horse graph there are two lines.... red and green...

there is a very subtle difference in them...is that main jet size change or which? you see one make better high rpm power, my guess is you dropped a main size?

edit : my bad, they are green and yellow..doh...same question though

thanks again...

YA, you wont be able to run a fci intake with the air box. I live in brownsville just over the hill from ya.

miller450r
actually, i think you can with the FCI, they have a system to modify the box slightly and keep it...
rebel
D-rock r u going to make it to the fury this year?

Thats good info. I should of researched a little better before assuming u couldent use the stock box with the fci. That would be ideal for the all around rider.

yes, the difference is on the jetting between the two graphs, the yellow and green one. the better graph is with a little smaller main jet.

if I am able to make it, it would just be for a day trip, how many people from here do you think will be going?

thanks for the info, I will be checking into getting one if I can keep my airbox

cool, next to seeing your peak numbers, its so cool to see what a few jets can do for your power..

[/quote]I think it will be a good turn out. there r a bunch of guys staying in driftwoodII and some people sand camping. Wer going to do the family thing and sand camp but hopfully I can get away and do some raceing and riding with some other org members.

Just saw this, nice curve for sure. Can't wait to head out with you to see the power 1st hand.
D-Rock
now I need to figure out which gearing is going to work best for me, right now, its got stock gearing and I'm running 20in. paddles, I can't afford to buy 21 or 22in. paddles yet so I need to regear to fully use my power, what do you guys think, up 1 tooth on the front?
