new to the forum
just baught a 06 450er with a bad crank. so i thaught. it turns out that the rod had broke the cases and i need to order new ones I have all the part #s i need accept one. it is the small needle bearing on the rear of the gear shift drum. the markinge on the bearing are NTN HKS 14x18x10 2PX1 JAPAN I cannot find any where I have tried 3 honda dealers and called factory honda still waiting for a returne call. i have even called NTN and they said that is a special bearing that was made for honda and they could make a new bearing if i was willind to wait 170 days. I don't f**king think so
I guess what my question is has anybody had to get new cases and were all the needle bearings installed from factory?
any help would be great
