do you make a 100mm piston for an ltr450 stock stroke what compression do they come in
i just got off the phone with John about this....
100mm pump gas pistons are on the way.... within the month $245.

yes... of course... just give it time....
John has been doing R&D with the new LTR450 that he got non stop.... many plans in the works... just takes time to make sure the details are correct before pulling the trigger on a bunch of parts.
We all know John will defiantly be getting Hi Comp pistons made
From testing that I've seen, the LTR doesn't like real high compression. The starter on the LTR doesn't like it either. Anything over 13.5:1 or so, and the starter will struggle at times.

this time ... for the first time.... i have the big bore ltr pistons in 12.25:1 comp first...

too bad they don't have an easily adjustable decompressor setup like the TRX's do.....
just like the yfz's.... it isn't a compression issue with power... it combustion chamber shape....

I was thinking the same thing the other day....love that emblem..or what ever you call it!
So these 100mm pistons.... I am assuming they require an aftermarket cylinder?? Are the stockers 96mm?

the ltr cylinders will accept 100mm bores....
I saw an oem ltr cylinder at Venom a couple of weeks ago. I can't believe how thick the skirts are!

before i got the 500 kit i was running 14.5.1. and it ran fine and never had a problem with it
