we got with just the baffle out of the stock exhuast, our prototype intake, no tuner yet it pulled 46hp. we do not have a high reading dyno. A piped and intaked honda will make 42hp on this dyno.

The new yamaha R can be ordered from the factory with cnc porting, race cams, hc pistons etc.. They can make huge power out of the box. Depends on which options you order

I doubt thats true, the head and other high performance parts are avilable through Yamahas GYTR division but I have never read anything in print that you can "order" it with those parts, BYW the head is $2500 dollars, Morgan had a post somewhere that he heard Cosworth does the porting,

I seriously doubt you can purchase the same head that bubba runs, no matter what they say.

no kidding bubba is getting im sure the best available more than any of us know...im sure they have dozens of different designs and heads all tested and whatever was best got used...and no way yamaha would ever give that head out to any jackoff that could try to duplicate...im betting bubbas bike is pushing close to 70 horse and aint gonna be reproduced by the average joe let alone gytr...granted gytr is stepping up over the years but lets face it if the head is anything like the other products available over the years then my guess is aftermarket heads have an advantage...at least if its a good head by one of the good guys!
