is there any power gains going to the 400ex intake over the stock 04/06 intake ?
i know the 400 intake is alot longer than the other two,but im not sure how that will affect power.

I found this on e-bay, it's referred to as a 400ex upgrade. Interesting

fitment is going be the problem.
the 400ex tube is too big for an fcr and to small for the stock 04/05 carb or noss adaptor

I run the 400ex intake pipe on my 07 400ex/ 05 450r hybrid and it seems to work great although i have no experience comparing it against a stoock 450r intake. I can however supply pics of it if anyone needs some. It is very big and it does work with the stock 450r carb with an adapter that is available. I forget who sells it but it works great.

I've been on this forum for 2 years and have never heard of using a 400ex intake
