you should heat shrink your axle too like sandshots did, that would go good with the black theme

blacked out quads are still my favorite....i am doing my frame in wrinkle black too, it looks bad ass!!!

I ran the HLS essentials last year with a stock front end and loved them. I just had GTT set them up for their +1 XC arms (which are what you see in the pic).. Also had him put the high flow piston in the rear. I did a quick bowl blend on the head and I'm putting a HCII in. Ive got a little more powder coat to have done yet and a couple other odds and ends to buy and it can go all the way back together. Ill post some better pics tonight.

Speaking from experience go ahead and drop the extra coin on a SS swingarm bolt. I trashed a frame and case with a broken pivot bolt.

Its a hand me down that the boss made and didn't need anymore. Its scary though he said he bent a frame with it and I believe him its a strong mofo.

Bawb yeah I cut the gussets out of some scrap. Where might i find one of these stainless swinger bolts? Any idea on how much they $$?

I got the arms from a member on another site used for $375. I think they are about $900 new.

how did you get the bearing out of the swinger to pc it.

The axle bearing carrier slides right out and the swinger bearings I pressed out, did the PC then pushed new ones back in. I'm contemplating doing the Spindles since I've gone this far. The hubs, valve cover, clutch cover and nerfs are definitely getting done. Also pulled the upper control arms back off. You'll see why later.

looking good man almost done

Started it up this weekend! Sounds great! All I'm waiting on now is nerfs, upper control arms, and black rear plastics. If anyone has a set of black rear plastics they want to off, please let me know.

Ok here are some pics. Its basically done. I just put a set of Pro Armor black Fat peg nerfs on it so Ill post pics of that later. Let me know what you guys think.

Whats the chick in the boots look like

The plastics are sandblasted. I took it for a ride and it flies. Its got alot more power than it did. I did a stage 2 hot cam and some head work. Chick in the boots is pretty hot.

That thing is sick! I love the blackout, workin on mine slowly but surely. Black and red though, I love my red frame.
I just came inside frim installin some black nerfs with fat pegs. I will post up some pic next week.

They work good. Not the best ever but for the money they work good.
