Full Version: 250 ES throttle problem...
Okay so i have a Recon 250 ES and it idles fine and everything and it hasn't been started for over half a year...after you put it in first and give it gas it goes but then it dies off and will stall or idle very low and then idle back up to normal and im out of ideas besides carb cleaner which is being ran through it now so any suggestions would be nice....

that carb needs to come off and be cleaned good buddy.
those run through carb cleaners are nothing more than gimmicks.
I had a 2002 recon 250es and it done the same thing so i took the air box lid off and it run fine so i restricted the exaust and driled holes in the air box lid that should work but then i bought a trx450r and traded the old recon in on some parts for the 450
