Does anyone have any reviews on the HMf slip on?

i put it on and left airbox lid on and put a 128 mai njet in and it HAULS now...you dont have to feather clutch so much anymore at low rpm's when putting around

I think ill probably end up getting it next month.

i like mine although the mounting could have went a little smoothe-- the bottom bracket was about a 1/4 inch aft of the bolt hole on the frame. GO-GO gadget hacksaw!! Otherwise i think it is a good value.

thats the main jet for a HMF slip on , i put on a LRD pro 4 slip-on and i had to use a 178 jet and cut holes in my airbox but it hauls major bunz now. .

like i said. i left my lid on and no cuts/holes

i installed full system and left air box lid off and installed a 190 main jet.now thats a big difference

can you give me some more details on yours. My full HMF system will be here today and Im worried to death it wont be as good as my Dr. D slip on...the slip on is freaking amazing.....what is your altitude? what about your needle, pilot, filter, and A/F settings?...thanks

i noticed a difference going from a 185 to a 180 mainjet. i think you will be happy with the HMF. in all honesty, i was really happy with my hmf full system.

altitude: 625 feet
HRC needle in middle slot
stock pilot jet
1.5-2 turns out on the fuel screw
foam air filter without the stock metal cage

I'm real happy with mine too.I had to up the pilot to a 50 though and just kept the 185 that came with the HRC kit.A night and day difference

Don't buy just the slip-on... go all out

Unless you already have an 06+ with the hrc kit then you already have an excellent head pipe.
