Im finally going to get this pig dynoed.
Hopefully i will have dyno comparisons between a Rossier Vs a HRC/HMF setup
Anyone in the area have a stage 3 or 208 that they would let me borrow for dyno testing?
Or any other exhausts or Cams.
Thanks-Kip

Alright, heres the deal. This friday i will be going to Templeton Motorsports to get it tuned.
He owns a dynomite dyno. Some people say numbers are up, some say they are close.
I have an idea around what mine should make, so we will know when i dyno it if its close or way off.
I will be doing some unbiased testing between a HRC/HMF exhaust and ROssier Exhaust. If anyone else has any other exhausts in the area let me know.
I talked to bill, and we figured out a plan that would satisfy both likings. Bill is going to tune the bike to the best of his ability, with emphasis on the TQ curve, and get it Zeroed in without the A/F meter, and then we will throw on the A/F meter and see what his readings are.
I have a feeling that 12:1 or 12.5:1 is about where the Meter will read his jetting, and thats where i want it.
Stay tuned for results.
And WARNING, if this turns into a bash fest at all, or any sort of Bashing or BS, i will have this thread closed by the mods. There is no reason for BS, so stay out if you plan to do that. Im all for questions and such, but keep the crap away please.
Mod list will be posted with Numbers/ Graph on Friday.

Venom Pipe in the Lineup as well.
This should be some good unbiased testing. Neither the shop or i am biased towards any of the pipe manufacturers.

Runs will be in next post.
First off i want to thank Rebel(DJ) for bringing by his pipe and letting me dynotest it and talk quads with him. He is a great guy and knows a lot about these bikes. Oh and my Buddy Dylan(Dylan250r) letting me dyno his rossier.
Ok, before anyone looks at my dyno runs, please read this post!
All dynoruns were done on a Dynomite Dyno by bill @ templeton motorsports. These numbers IMO are high. Although these numbers are high, and i will never claim that i have the HP bike shown in the dyno runs, it does show a good HP/TQ representation of pipe changes and other tweaks.
Speedbumps KBR 490 made 63Hp i was told by bill on this dyno.
I was also told a stock 05 bike made 38 HP on this dyno.
Bill told me this is the highest power output on a stockbore/Stroke bike he has ever dynoed, even compared to his own build with more aggresive cam and 14.5:1 compression.
I called around to local builders with Dynojet dynos, such as DTR and Cam @ redline, and was told that i bills numbers are high and i should expect 7 Hp less based upon my numbers.
His printer was not working, so i had to outline the runs in pen.
The posting of this was approved by racers edge at my own risk.
If any crap starts, i will have this thread deleted immediately.

when u say 7hp higher is that on a stock quad? or modded if something is higher on one dyno then the next and they 7hp that isnt really accurate, i think it should be done in percentages, 7 hp on a 35 hp quad is 20% 7 hp on a 60 hp quad i s about 11.5 % does this make sense or completely wrong?

I did not want to say what i made in power in my original post, so i said 7 less. They told me that it would be tapping 60 or a little less on their dynojet dynos.

Runs in 5th Gear
Chain Was lubed prior to runs.
around 40-45 degrees i would say.
A/F meter was NOT used. We could not get it to work properly.

In conclusion,
HRC/HMF exhaust= Man was i suprised. This pipe works great on my setup.
Rossier= Now, something everyone should know, was that i put up the best run of each pipe, all the runs on the bike were when it was hot, with a infared heat gun, but the rossier Graph that i posted up, was when the motor was not warmed completely. on the fifth run with that pipe, it made a little over 60 HP and the TQ was right about 40. But i figured i would give it a fair chance and post BEST run. So there it is.
Rossier Pipe would make an awesome MX pipe, the power comes on a lot sooner, but does not carry the overrev nearly as well.
Venom= The exhaust in between. Thought the power would better, but it didnt work as well as others on my build. This pipe was extremely quiet and looked pretty good as well.
TPS vs no TPS= I guess that is solved, the curves tell no lie. It sure helped the bog to unplug it as well.

I was really suprised to see the 1 hp gain by just unpluging the tps. If I wasnt standing right there watching it happen It would be hard to believe.Bills theory was that with the tps unpluged, the timing runs full advanced all the time therefore as u stab the throttle the motor is running at advanced timing already therefore no hesitation or bog problem. And I have to say it worked. Does anyone have any experience with problems after running the tps unpluged. Im thinking of going that route myself.
