That's why we are going to Glamis. High 60's low 70's during the day and 40's at night.

Hey Blaze,

I'm in Springdale, and several of us are going to LS the 5-8 of Feb.

Cleatus,

you know riding in 45 degree weather sounds a lot more fun than going to California. p.gif

It's worth the drive. We go to Sahara too. And it's fun!

To put it into perspective, you can put Little Sahara in the parking lot of Glamis and until you go there you would never understand.

yeah, a few of my buddies just got back from glamis a few weeks ago, and they all said it was amazing how big that place is. Hopefully when I get my bachelor's degree wrapped up this coming semester I can afford the time and money to make a trip out to Glamis. I'm sure it's a blast.

In the mean time LS has to suffice

Have a good trip man! thumbup.gif

Makes sense. I hope you get the time to make it happen some day. Like I said it is worth it. We went last year and said that it was going to be our one time trip.... lol Ya right. That place is addictive.

We have been planning for this trip since we left Glamis Last year.

Thanks I will take lots of pictures and we have 8 Helmet cams going. Going to be a blast.

hey msc8127 ,
How many of you are going? I have lived in NWA all my life and just moved from rogers to bella vista and i cant find anyone to roll with, No one seems to be into riding, im really wanting to find a group to ride with... i have a few friends that ride only in Mark Twain Forrest... its fun but nothin like the dunes... Do you ride anywhere else around here? the 5 - 8th is when i was thinking about going.

so far 5-7 of us going this time. In october we had about 15 people over there, but several of the guys just got back from Glamis, so they're still recovering from that trip.

Forgot to add that we ride at Mill Creek quite a bit. Every now and then we go down to Van Buren to Lee Creek and ride. And a couple of times a year we make the trip to Mena to ride at Wolfpen Gap. Wolfpen has really nice, groomed trails that you can ride pretty hard if you go on a week that isn't packed with people.

Mill creek is a blast. There are some spots that really make you get up on the handlebars and ride it, but for the most part the trails are pretty intermediate. There are definitely some spots with a lot of "pucker factor" though. Most have ways around them if you don't want to chance it. I tend to prefer grabbing some throttle and hoping for the best. thumbup.gif
