Hey guys, just wondering if anyone knows a good set of cams to throw into a ds 650, and a good rev box for it, it already has a fmf slip on, and well were wondering what some good cams would be to throw in and a rev box, we wanna make this thing fast, so any help would be appreciated, as well as links.

ummm i would suggest looking at the stuff at either www.albaaction.com or www.rockymountainatv.com, the one that carries alot of cool stuff for the ds650 is Alba Action. But i dunno, check them out though, hopefully i helped out at least a little.

ron woods is DS performence, i have his CDI on the DS and it seems to work great, i also run the FMF pipe. Sometimes on ebay a set of cams will come up for cheap.

The other person to look at besides Ron Wood is Mr. Horsepower. Horsepowerresearch.net or something like that.

http://www.hpresearch.net I had a DS with his endcap and it made a huge increase, surprising how just that little piece can do so much... that guy knows his stuff.

i know im kinda late on this but im new to the forums, ryans650x is rite on when he mentioned hpr. i have there 730 big bore kits on two of my ds. you would not believe how strong they run especialy when you add a twenty five hp shot of nitrous. sandbomber is the owner of the ds that won the king of the hill in glamis. it was a ds with a 800 stroker motor in it. like i said sorry for being late on the reply.

this might be an old thread but here ya go...take the fmf off and throw it as far as you can. if you want torque go with the wood inframe drag pipe if you horsepower go with the big gun race series full system(s). the axtell 1&2 cams are a good all around cam and make very respectable power. the wood cdi box is the only option with better low end and you dont have a rev limlimlimlimlimitttter to hit just watch the tach if you have one and dont rev it too high. stock cams will pull to 8000rpm and will not pull anyhigher under load than 8500. if the clutch is pull they will free rev higher so watch out. with a tm or hsr 45mm mikuni ported intake, rev box and rwr drag pipe the bikes are pullin 48-49 rear wheel horse on THE BOM's(jeff ross) dyno. any other ?'s pm me
