I like it,but is hard to get "go fast" parts for. Almost imposible to get light wieght drag parts!!! Such as drag Aarms. Having a +6 swingarm built for it right now.

Nice looking parts. What kind of cylinder/piston is that? Did you have the head worked on? If so who did the work, and what was done?
We are going to have to meet up sometime so I can see how that thing runs.

Thats a lot of work, but should be a runner for sure. Has anyone done a 100mm bore, on a kfx yet. Just curious, I haven't really read about one yet. Do you know of any issues with doing that yet?
Hahaha, race huh, well I will just give ya this one lol, my kfx is still pretty much stock other than an exhaust. I just want to see how fast it is. I haven't had any money to really put into it. I just got done building my yfz to a 480 with a 42mm carb, and shouldn't have spent the money on that.
I don't think I can make it that weekend. It is only 2 weeks away and I still have to get it tuned in. Plus I would like to try and find some paddle tires also.
Where are you having your quad dyno'd at??

There is one other guy that I know of that did a 100mm,but he doesn't get on the forums enough for me to find out about it. I hope I don't have any issues!
I am getting it dynoed at CSA in Almont. It,s closet one I could find with an AF meter.
I have a set of paddles F/S on here that would work really good for you

Yea hopefully you don't have any issues. I seen your paddles for sale yesterday but they seem a little much for me at 10 paddles, also I don't have that kind of money. I have a extra set of stock rims that are like new, I'm going to just try and get some tires for, but I will have to find a 9 in. tire.
Have you ever used CSA before? Do you know how much they charge to do a kfx with the efi? I don't have a PC3, I bought a dynatek so it is a little different, no maps or computer, more like jetting, just adjust screws for low, mid, high.
Jeff B
Mar 26 2009, 06:45 AM
Ya I used them last year. I think they are $225 for a complete tune.
You are going to have a hard time finding 9" tires, I don't know of anyone making them.
My 10 paddles are every other paddle is a glider.
A set of 6 paddle brats would work good for you to,I had a set when I was stock. But they are usally about $300 too.

There is a lot of strong motors around 480 - 490cc, so I wouldn't worry about it "only being a 488" lol. . . .
