As most of you guys know. Ryan Whitley is serving the country in the military defending our country. We talked to Ryan on the internet Ryan decided that he wanted us to help him upgrade his bike. Cleatus ( Jim ) a good friend of ours that is a super nice guy, volunterred FREE labor to tear down and rebuild the bike for him to come home and be able to go riding in either Feb or Mar. Jim and I drove about 3 hrs away to pick up His bike from his friends house were I put a plan into action to make this bike something that Ryan would be extremely proud of. To my suprize Jim had this thing framed off and apart in less than 24 hrs . so I would like to thank Jim for all his hard work to make this happen in a timely manner. Long story short we are starting to get parts in and I have gusseted the frame with a Bare Performance gusset kit and even made some extra pieces that gusset the foot peg are for extra strength since Ryan says he is an A-class MX racer. I will be updating some pictures of the build and incoming parts for him and yourself to see. Thanks for everything Jason

I'm so excited about this project, I really cant believe its all happening. Jim, Jason and David are top notch guys and I cant wait to knock a few back with them. I cant wait to see the finished product either, but they said they aren't gonna let me see it 'til I get back. This whole thing, my quad, going to Snake Hunt when I get back, and just going riding is my motivation to get out of this place. Thanks again guys

Just for the record, Ryan and I only know each other from the org, we have never actually met. It took a lot of guts to let me go pick up his quad from his buddy's house. Knowing some dude that calls himself Cleatus was going to disassemble it and put it back together.

Dude you guys kick so much ass. back in the day i'd say i'd bust a couple bad guys for ya.... but its pretty calm over here now. They know what its like to have M1A2 Abrams shoot a 120mm round up their skirts and they dont want no more....

Ya they are Fullbore plastics..... I wish I was able to go to Dubai..... last tour we sent a few guys to Qatar for R&R.... but not this tour. No one from our company has been down there. Man I wish I could though, they get to drink beer down there. But if they did send me, ya we'd go riding..... you got some pretty nice bikes, im sure I could use one of those right? hahaha

My brother just got back last week from UAE, I think he was stationed by Dubai, at an Air Force base.

he was a lucky lucky man..... sometimes I wished I had joined up to get stationed in those kinda places.... but then I climb on my tank and go do work.... then those thoughts just kinda bury themselves someone in the back of my mind. But I have nothing but respect for anyone who has served or currently serves........ it takes alot to just sign it all away, but I wouldnt trade the last 7 years for anything in the world.

OK Ryan, its time for us to come clean. Jason, David or I just can't stand it any longer. Our intensions were to keep this a secret from you, but thats just going to be impossible.

So here is the deal.

#1 Your piston and rings are fine there is nothing wrong with either and you are not burning oil.

#2 Rage has stepped up and volunteered to Hook you up, they are going to port your head. Free of charge

#3 Racers Edge AZ has also volunteered to hook you up, and bore your carb to 42.5 free of charge

I hope you are not upset that we were trying to keep this a secret from you and told you a little white lie about the burning oil, but we had to find out if you would be upset if we commited you to race gas by putting a high comp piston in your motor.

David, Jim, Jason...... thanks for making me wonder if my motor was gonna go south on me as soon I as I got and started racing. But no really..... wow guys this is just amazing.

This whole build is full of a bunch of firsts for me, I've never had such a group of guys, well anyone for that matter, come together and do anything like this. I started on this forum in January of 2006, while getting ready to come home from my first tour in Iraq, and it has been nothing but a huge online family. And I'm not really sure how to say thanks for EVERYTHING. So i'm just gonna keep doing my work over here, ridding the world of terrorist, and bring peace and stability to this country.

Once again, to everyone who has done everything to help bring this project along, I thank you.... with everything this stinky, beat-up, hungry US Army tanker has.

I hope the crew is ready for Snake Hunt, cause I have a years worth of fun to catch up on, and I couldnt be happier doing it with you guys. I cant wait for the pictures.
