Looking at upgrading my daughter from her worked polaris scrambler to either a trx 250 or raptor 250
what are peoples thoughts and recommendations

Raptor.
Depends on weather you think she'll be able to reliably pull a clutch... IF no then 250EX... But any other reason the Raptor is such a superior machine.
HEG71 What did you end up getting your daughter ? I hope you considerd the 300ex way better than both machines!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No way! 300ex is a pig compared to a Raptor 250
what did you choose? the 250 ex is extremely tippy 
The raptor 250 is a great quad for a smaller rider. Aftermarket companies have recognized it's potential and are starting to offer a lot of upgrades for it.
