So I only ride my 450er in the sand. I save the dirt for my dirt bike. I read a little bit about dune specific tuning on Elka's site. I was wondering what you all might have to say about it. I am 250 lbs. (atleast right now) and my wife is (well if I posted her weight I would not have a wife anymore) but she is much lighter than I am. I want a plush set up that I could adjust to still be enjoyable for her to ride as well. I don't jump really high or far but I do like to get the quad in the air. I would say that I am an aggressive rider with moderate skills always trying to go faster and jump farther. My biggest concern is the fatigue I get from not having the right suspension for all the chop you get in sand. I guess that biggest challenge is making it great for me and good for my wife as she is not nearly as aggressive as I am and the significant weight difference between us. Is this even possible? I would love any suggestions for setting this up.

thanks,
Mike

FIRST of all, I cannot say ENOUGh about JD, they after great arms for whatever you need. I have the LT travel +2's with DSC Foxes, I love them very tunable set up for when I need to through a lighter person on the bike.

I ordered a JD setup for duning a few months back and honestly it is by far the best thing I have done to my quad. I have a few friends that have similiar setups to me from other companies but everyone agrees that I have the best out of our group. You honestly cannot go wrong with a setup from JD and if you give him a call you will be amazed at how much he knows and his craftsmanship is the best I have seen.

I have absolutely zero arm pump compared to my stock setup and you would just be amazed by the times when your bracing for death and land completely awkward and it just soaks it right up like nothing happened.
