Maybe....

I ruff the ports out then have the seats cut then carefully cut the port for my target rpm. so in the end it will be a tad larger once the +1 valves go into this head. you can see spots in this port that i did not touch.

Yes er..... Some times I'll install new guides than have seats cut before I do any porting!!!!

You cut your seats with a profile cutter, stones or carbide cutters? Have you tried a newen valve job yet?

Profile cutter is the only way i can get the seats cut the way i want them so quickly. I dont use stones or carbide cutters

ideas of what one my my yfz heads look like when they are near finished. good for 10,000 k and +1 valves. i don't like to cut the guides but i wanted the extra high lift flow.

I know this is a honda forum but i have been around here for a while.

not a super high rpm but will run well. on the bench no guides free up about 10cfm or so @10" for me at high lift. metal gets pretty thin around these heads, this is why i don't like to take them out. not to mention that they are expensive if you blow though.

i don't like showing to many pictures...... the first set are not a finished head and neither are these but it gets the idea how i do some things. what looks big may be small and attention to little details makes a head that does not sound like a train on the bench. yfz heads can get very loud!

Man that looks killer!!!! good work!!!
