My friend has installed a big bore kit and storker kit on 06 R after the install he thought he had the timing off he had to pushstart and ran really bad. After a timing ck now he has no spark. I have cked and have no power to coil I work on cars so this is kinda new to me. I used meter to ck ac voltage for ignition pulse and it is reading. I dont really know what to ck any help would be appreciated!

Do u know if the timing is really off. If he thinks it is off some might want to check that out. Then let us know.

when you checked the timing was it off ? does the bike even turn over when pushing the start button?

I think the timing was off he says it was but I just got involved so cant say for sure it will turn over when hit the start button.

could have done some damage if the timing was off.. check valve clearances to see if you have a valve that may be bent and not closing.

theres two dots two line it up on , you have to line it up with the small one, it happened to me..

would that cause no spark?

Everytime I have to put it in timing I go off the flywheel..Gets me perfectly in correct timing everytime..so easy.
