HeavyHitter
Ya i can post some up as soon as i get them both in again. I took all my aftermarket stuff off to clean after a tough day riding and getting ready to winterize as i dont ride all that much in the winter.
quadforce
I like it.. I also drink monsters and support them.. I like the way the support moto sports in general... they spend major money supporting the things we like to play with.
HeavyHitter
yes they do, Action sports is their main customers is why. I also think Monster tastes way better than Rockstar.

I wish they made it in something other than the green.
mx333
I realy like the monstaer logo but i don't care much for the drink, i like full throttle the best but thats just me, if i had a quad with lights i would defently put hid's on it thats for sure they are so bright
sandshots
what HID settup do you have there?
06erDJ450
Monster is disgusting. I'd rather drink cough syrup from a can.

Bike is looking good though. It'll be easy to spot you out in the Oregon Dunes next year.

HeavyHitter

HeavyHitter
Just got my rage ported head in the mail today. Have pics of the quad with all of the latest mods up soon. Next in line is an +4 Ebay Swinger from Lance at slcquadcustoms.
A_White
Any new pics? Lets see those HIDs and swinger.
HeavyHitter
Ive been slacking, will get some washed pics up tonight.
szynkowski_racing
yea get some new pics on here man... sounds like u have been extremely busy this winter with ur R... SOUNDS GOOD MAN, I BET IT RIPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
HeavyHitter
All pics moved to the first post.
HeavyHitter
Here are some more...

I cut the brackets on my bumper and moved them down so my blingstar iron cross bumper doesnt block my headlight and allow my HID's to reflect into my eyes.

Trx480Ryan
You get that heead on yet and taker for a rip?
HeavyHitter
Naw, havent had the time to mess with that yet. All I do is work, sleep and ride. Not neccessarily in that order. Its gonna rip tho as soon as I get a chance to throw it in. Def before I head down to florence. Also saving some funds to go high comp at the same time.
HeavyHitter
putting some lime on my wheels and will have the new rage ported head and hotcam stg2 in shortly. Also painted or pcing my stock wheels black. should look pretty sweet. pics to come tonight. Just bought a house so the build is starting to slow for a temporary period.
dirteater74
HH you have alot of rust on everything, do you store your bike outside? looking good though.

Sonny
HeavyHitter
only thing that is rusty is the chain. i ran thru a chit ton of mud that baked onto my engine and surrounding parts. havent had a chance for a pressure wash yet. Bike is stored inside since new. Dont always get it super detailed, but its not a rust bucket by any means.

Where did you see the rust?
dirteater74
Yeah, your right it's mud. I thought it was rusty on the bottom of the exhaust and inside of your swingarm. my bad!

Sonny
HeavyHitter
No biggie, I thought you might have seen something that I hadnt noticed yet.
Stock450r
Is there any real benifit of taking off that little resivoir coming off of the intake and just capping it?\

bikes coming together reall nice man
HeavyHitter
It creates a low pressure area where one isnt needed. Basically it says in the manual that its there for emissions reasons. Plug was 12 bucks from member mike d. so i figured what the hell. supposed to help with throttle response and performance a little bit. the resevoirs function is similar to that of a boost bottle on a banshee. i have a plug for my snorkel where it enters the airbox on the way. I run with my lid removed and this will just allow a cleaner look under the seat.
HeavyHitter
New Mods to be added by mid may

Woodward Fuel Screw
HC 2
Rage Ported Head
CP 12.0:1 Piston
+2 T-Dub Swinger

Gotta get them on by the Memorial day trip to Florence. Also just got a set of 22x11x8 7 paddle extremes double buffed courtesy of member way....something. excellent seller
HeavyHitter
Looks like the quad is being torn apart this week/weekend and will be up and running by next week for a few test sessions and heat cycles before I go rip on it at the dunes. Also looking at adding an fci intake before I get down there as well. Got one pending on here, 2nd in line.
HeavyHitter
Tear down is tonight and then the reassembly is tomorrow. Heat cycles and break-in next week. Then I'm taking her to the dunes to ride the piss out of it. Doubtful that i will have the +2 Swinger on, but thats ok for this trip. Not a lot of steep stuff at Florence.

HCII thumbsup.gif

really opened up my bike. I love it.
HeavyHitter
Here's some pics from my ride at Florence over Memorial Day Weekend.

Her First Wheelie, Thanks to Bulldawg cause she wouldnt listen to me, lol -

Trx480Ryan
How did you end up liking the head?
dunner250
Yea I also wanted to know how it turned out, I need to get my head ported. how long on turn around?
HeavyHitter
Well its been a while and I havent had time to do all the mods but a few small minor details. I do however have some pictures of what the build looks like now.

Still waiting to put on all of the above mentioned parts. Also added to the list is a kill switch and 42 tooth sprocket for the +2 swinger. I was having some pretty major bogging issues last time down to the dunes. Which was way to long ago. Im definetly due for a trip here shortly.

Anyhow here are some updated images -

Hopefully Ill have some time this month to get this chit put on before I go for Labor Day, if I can have time to even go down for Labor Day.
HeavyHitter
Hoping to have everything done by Labor Day for a trip to Coos or Winchester. We will see how it goes...
HeavyHitter
Ill have some pics up tomorrow. Installed the FCI intake today and the ebay locknut. Hopefully tomorrow will be the piston, cam and head. Things are looking up.
MrBullDawg
Hope to seeing on the dunes memorial w/e
HeavyHitter
Decided to just install the cam for sake of tuning and not wanting to be rushed before I head to winchester for Labor Day.
HeavyHitter
Got the Hot Cam 2 installed end of last week thanks to Rob, Want2bfast. Wow what a difference. Really opened up the mid to top end. I pulled much harder up the hill than before without any loss of the bottom end.

I also regeared while at Winchester to a 39 tooth rear and made a slight upgrade over my stock 38. Still looking to go with a 41 tooth in the rear so that most of the hills and racing will be done in 2nd and 3rd rather than 1st and 2nd. We will see how this changes tho when I throw in my piston and head.

She's slowly but surely coming along. Gonna be a nice little stock bore runner when its all said and done.
HeavyHitter
Got some Blingstar Nerfs on the way. Along with a Houser +1 Stem. Thinkin about going with some cut front fenders and possibly even the rears. My black plastics are starting to get a little shredded from all the trees and chit down in the holes.

On another note I know I've said this before, but the teardown is forthcoming. Ive decided to keep the CRF450 that I got in partial trade to get my riding fix while my quad is torn down. My garage is finally organized from the big move allowing me the space and organization to work on my own projects.

Ill throw some pics up of the FCI Intake and Hotcam install that I completed before I headed down to the dunes for Labor Day.

My +2 Swinger is getting welded up and pc'ed black for the next dune season as well. Had a couple of hairline cracks or the beginning of some on a couple of the welds.
HeavyHitter
Also Got my new ITP MXR6 fronts and rears on this last weekend. Ill throw up some pics later. Ordered 20's on the front and 18's for the rear. Makes the quad sit way lower and handle way better than the stockers. Not quite as much ground clearance but that shouldnt be an issue for me at all. Traction is night and day difference as well from the stockers.
rinehart_mitch
looks very nice, lemme know how you like them bligstar nerfs, or anyone else who already has them. I am going to be ditching these POS DG grab bars, and gettin some propegs... How well does blingstars powdercoat hold up? would it be ok for dunes/mx?
HeavyHitter
Blingstars powder coat holds up pretty good. Its pretty thin tho. Find a used set on here that are polished and get them pc'ed the color that you want. Thats what I do on most of my stuff and the powder holds up much better.

Well it has been a long time coming, but with the addition of my crf450 I have taken the quad down. Almost done removing the head with the piston next and then reassembly. Looking forward to seeing how the ported head and 12-1 piston run. Should be done by the end of the week barring any setbacks. Look for updates in the next few days. Maybe a dyno run in the near future.
