It is our anniversary coming up and my boyfriend mentioned he needed a new radiator for his honda 450r, I was wondering if anyone could helph me out and tell me what would be the best radiator out there form the 450r... any suggestions would help thank you..doesnt matter the price

first thing... does he want an aftermarket oversized radiator, as an upgrade?? or does he just need a new stock replacment (maybe due to it being damaged)


we carry Fluidyne oversized radiators (similar to the pic) that are great quality.... but they are in the area of $400....

in most cases a stock radiator is just fine. it just matters what year 450 he has. 04-05's have a different radiator than the 06-08's

if my GF (anonymouse) was going to buy me a radiator and said price doesnt matter, im pretty sure i would want the best one, dont matter if stock is just "fine", i would still want a aftermarket

Well I believe the 06 fits in the 05 but was designed to cool better.

I ran a PWR even when I didn't probably need to just to be cool I guess lol

Another option is if you are going all out a jug of engine ice coolant? Mine as well if you are swapping rads? about $26 Or some new Honda coolant. Honda works real hard to supply a great coolant!!

I'm pretty positive that he has an 04', and iknow that his quad is ridiculously hooked up. A lot of mods...pretty much he rips, ha....And the radiator isn't broken its just old...
