Hey guys Im racing a black 05 450r and it getting kinda boring, in the looks department.
I kinda got a red theme goin with the gibson bar clamps on the stem, red nerf bar netting, graphics and number graphics.
This winter it getting torn down to the frame for powder coating and Im adding all new plastics along with seat cover. possible a quad tech hump seat. Im doing all new graphics and if necessary, different color nerf bar netting to match.
Any suggestions on which way to go????
Some ideas so far are:
-red frame/sub frame, white plasctics, red graphics
-blue frame/sub frame, white plastics, blue graphics
-white frame with either blue or yellow or red plastics.

Any suggestions or pics would help.

if i was you i would do something no one has especialy if your getting new plastics
something like bvright orange or lime green plastics with a black frame that would look pretty cool
ive seen blasters like that and they look pretty mean

DO u have any pics of 450 with those colors?
I dont know if I want it to be that crazy though

I know its not on you frame choice list but what about a Orange frame and sub, with either yellow or white plastics and your swinger and arms black and everything else the same as you have it.

holy crazy camber batman....... what kinda camber are you running, cause it looks like its the wrong kind...... when I think about doing a build.... i like to have contrasting colors...... a frame one color and the plastics another. Its kinda hard to be different in this day and age where everyone want to be different. Maybe like a black and silver theme, old school gold maybe? i think the blue frame w/ white plastics would look pretty cool........ you know another thing you could do, just take some colored pencils and start putting two colors together and see what turns you on. just a thought... good luck with it all.

wait until I start posting some pictures up in a couple weeks.... orange / white plastic and chrome.. well at least the rattlecan rustoleum that looks like chrome... ghetto fabulous baby.

The Red frame looks really nice

Im not going to Paint the swing arm or A arms at all because of the hassle and the a arms are brand new
And to answer your question on the camber. haha that was an hour after I put them on so they werent adjusted yet.

Does anyone have any pics of recent builds?
its much easier to determine by seeing an actual quad.

I've started a blue and white look to mine and I really like the candy blue of the arms. Would look sweet on the frame with the black arms and accessories, white plastics and some white/blue graphics.

That looks sick!

if you want something different do a lime green or bright yellow frame with black or white plastics

i have the lime green / yellow / and red look

Leave the arms blue (they look sick matcing the motowoz), paint the frame and subframe that same color blue, do black nerfs, wheels, swnger, bumper and grab bar. Then keep the white plastics, but get the 08 special edition blue graphics to stick on there.

But if i do the white fenders iL do a candy red frame and red flexx bars and a red quad tech hump seat. possibly hand guards.

I think blue frame with bottom a arms black top blue, all assessories black, and possibly subframe blue or black will look sick..Maybe thats because im doing it lol.

haha doubt it, because he hasnt even took it apart yet, lmao we cant for like 2 weeks because of last race, then both of ours are getting stripped and off to PC

I am still trying to find White front fenders but it's half white and red i just havent decided what color to do the frame and swinger.

i honestly think if you take off all the stickers on your plastics and the honda logo on your seat it would look awsome

Thats exactly what Im doin. I got two more races, maybe practices an an indoor track a time or two, then me and a friend are both strippin our bikes for pc. Hes just doin pc but im doin that plus much more.
I really need to pick my colors though.
