This is a long shot but.... does anyone know if there is or was any upgrades for the RT series
2 stroke trail bikes? Just picked one up with maybe 10hrs on it for cheap. Just thought it would be fun to have a smaller dirt bike to put around on when not riding the atv. Its a 180cc air cooled oil injected 2 stroke with a pretty strong low-mid and a almost non existant top end. Apparently the motor was a left over from some late 70's enduro bike. Lookin for maybe a better expansion pipe and might look into some cylinder porting. Found a set of Boyesen reeds for it but thats about it. Let me know if anyone has any expirience with these things.

I have noticed the Yamaha Blaster engine looks just about identical. The bores are the same but the blaster has a 3mm longer stroke. I wonder if the crank dimensions are the same as far as lengths and bearing fitment goes. That would be great. Could turn it into a 249cc with a Blaster big bore and a blaster +4mm stroker crank. Hhhmmm.
