Ok, I picked up a warrior for 1000 bucks that "needed" a tune up. At first the bike would not idle at all except on choke, but after rebuilding the carb and cleaning/replacing the jets it idles fairly smoothly but will not rev. It "putters" around the yard and doesn't die but it will not rev and sounds rough bap...bap....bap if you will. The exhaust is not blowing blue smoke....what's the deal? any ideas?

my old 87 warrior did the same thing, is it like it will start, run ok, and you can drive it around but only at 1/8th or 1/4 throtle?

Mine was missing this really small weird plastic thing in the carb. after I got thet it was GREAT!!! I will try and find the parts diagrame for that.

so it ran really rough b/f you replaced/ added the piece of plastic? It didn''t happend to be the small plastic cup that goes over the main jet is it?

Yup thats it I belive. that or the accelorator pump lever thing.
