just like the title says guys... geting ready to put mine on and i was looking at the brake lines wondering if i can sneak by w/o taking them off. ? Anyways did everyone zip tie the lines to the new arms..? I was trying to think of a method to hook the lines on the arms w/o rubbing the fancy new finish off. Tips would be appreciated. Thanks in advance,
Storm
You need some brake line clamps.

You dont have to disconnect your lines. For a fast free brkliine pearch, you can cut a piece of fuel line or small clear hose, cut it about a half inch long, get a zip tie, stand the fuel line on end on top of the a/arm, set the brkline on top of it, then take the zip tie and go around the line then thru the hose, then around the arm. I dont have any pics, but maybe one of you guys reading this can put up one.

the manual also states that you need to use a ball joint remover to disconnect the ball joints.....true or false?

It makes it a lot less stressful! Hammering it out is a good way to crack your spindle. They do sale a ball joint remover that is like a fork with two prongs. You stick it between the tie rod and the spindle, and hammer it. It is tapered, going up toward the rear of the fork. I'll be trying this out Fiday.
The style of ball joint remover that you screw in and it spreads it is the best method.
