If you talking about the ocala national forest be sure to be up on all the rules before you go. The rangers dont mess around and like to write tickets.

For real? Ive never been there I just heard its pretty cool.
What kinda rules are they enforcing.
Have you been there? how is it like
I heard theres a 300' drag strip

I think your talking about the Motoplex that is up in the panhandle. ONF is just a trail system that the state has setup in the forest. You have to have your quad registered and perchase a pass to ride. If you go stay on the designated trails and off the #ed roads and out of the pits or you will get a ticket.Yuo can find more info here.www.atvflorida.com

Same goes for big scrub. You must have your quad registered and stay out of pits and off numbered roads. Be sure to know all the rules before you go . I ride ONF (delancey and big scrub) alot. The pics in that post are real old too.

you have any pics? or know were i can see some? Ive never been there, but a whole bunch of us are planning a trip.
When can I see the rules and everything
novadave
There is not much to see. no hills , jumps just trails in the forest. some of them near the parking areas get pretty whooped out to so the farther you go in the forest the better they get.

ps. The last time i was out there a ranger told us that they are being trained right now to use DB meters because in the near future they will be testing exhaust pipes and he also said that when phase2 is finshed (big scrub) there will be a speed limit of 30mph and they will be clocking the riders.

wooooow thats pretty G@Y, so were do you ride? I usually drive up to la belle, and ride in the squares.
but after the 200th time it gets boring, I didnt know that park was so strict about the rules, we mostly ride trails
and drag race. Not really in to the whole track and mx thing tho
novadave
I mostly ride Delancey, Big Scrub and Croom. There just isn't any place close to ride at anymore. I'm not into mx tracks either. I love clay pits , but there aren't any around anymore.
Mr450r
I liked ocala because, I saw in the pics like sand and stuff
You know when theres any events going on? or when alot of people go up there to ride? Certain day ?
novadave
I think you would like croom better . There is always alot of people there. There is a big sandy area at the front and pits in the back. Its more challenging terrain.

If you want sand & trails you need to hit Croom. It is 1 hr 20 mins North of Tampa. It located right off the interstate. I-75 and State Road 50. You will need your quads registered(titled) and there is also a permit fee. I know the fee is $50 bucks at the begin of the season which runs from July to June. It is prorated down from that every few months. I would say its going to be 30-35ish. Plus you can camp in the back in the campground and ride. The front pit gets crazy about noon time. Hope this helps!
