im almost certain mine came from mexico. it came along with a mexico flag whip i dunno where the vin is, i had it written down. its hard to see with the PC

I'll get mine posted tomarrow when I get to the shop to look at it! I ordered it November of 2003 and recieved it March 2004. I do remember that the last digits are 0019. So I'm guessin that it was the 19th one made!

I know the last six digits are where the quad was in the production line, but does that start at zero for each year?

That is a very good question. Either yours is the 118,374 05 made in Ohio or it is the 118,374 made in Ohio period.

Guess I'm gonna have some research to do to make this thread work right.

That's why I was wondering. If mine is the 118,374th made in 05, they were pumping out the quads that year. I don't think there's any way they made that many in one plant in one year.

Yah seems high to me too. My R will actually hold the answer, Mine was bough in October of 04 but is an 05. And it came from Ohio like yours. If it's sequence number is anywhere near as high as yours then Im sure that means that it carries over from year to year.

From the looks of the Vin #'s in the Ohio group, it looks like mine is a late 05. I bought it used in May of 07 but it was bought new in May of 06.

now..... would you want your deal to be put together by americans or japanese?

Well I bought my 05 on August 31st 2004 at Hitching Post Motorsports in South St. Paul, MN. VIN # 1HFTE30025A100298. Since I bought mine in August and its an 05, I would say the last numbers are not in the hundred thousand range, but rather in the hundreds range, but I could be wrong.

my 06 was originally bought and spent the first few months of its life in new hampshire before getting shipped to Ireland and getting bought by myself in march of 07 and spending the last year in my ownership,the vin is jh2te32056k010234

I've got "Clutch" beat two fold --- I have two 04's in the 3300's. One purchased new in early Feb 2004 and the other was also originally a late Jan/early Feb 04 bike that I bought used in 06.
