wanting to install the FCR and not knowing what to use to attach it to the head
i opted to use a short piece of hose from the local auto parts store , inside diameter of the hose
was to small to install with any ease so i used a hone to remove enough rubber for it to slip on
with very little effort.
that part done i found there was now a short gap in the hose between the carb and the head ,filed the gap with a ring spacer made from electric conduit . with abit of T&E i got the carb with-in 1/8''
of the cross upper member the angle cut on the ring and the hose was done to level out the carb.
the fit of the ring to the inside bore of the carb was almost perfect as well to the head ,die grinder
with a small flap wheel cleaned up any irregularity's.
ordered the RAT stack to improve the air flow ,then it just a matter of jetting and of course getting to
a dyno . does any one know of one ,seams like every time i find one some thing happens to it and i have to find another one.
