This is a picture of the 612cc engine kit Im offering for the KTM 525. This kit will include 6mm stroker crank, a 100mm piston 11-1 compression, a 100mm tall cylinder (no spacer), custom ground cam, oversize valves, dual spring kit, 43.5 FCR can be added to this kit, and all gaskets needed to build this beast

so what are you telling us? who's supplying these parts... are they ktm bike stuff that swaps over or brand new stuff only available to the quad? what's the stock bore for this quad?

The crank is KTM the rest of the parts are not KTM. And yes these parts will fit the bike and atv.

The stock bore and stroke of the KTM is 72 x 95 = 510.4 cc
The KTM hard parts kit is 78 x 97 = 576 cc

This kit is similar to a 610 super moto build. But with this kit you dont have a spacer plate, you still have a long rod, oversize valves, 3 choices of compression, 3 cam choices,

Relax kiddies, Sparky's been around a while. And I do belive his Yammi is the real deal. So I'm sure anything KTM he sinks his teeth into will also cause ego deflation as well.

Steve @ Pinit motorsports is a great guy and realy know his $hit! I should know I grew up about 15 min from his shop Salinas Ca, but it just moved from abbot street to down town. Its a realy nice shop alot bigger and better for the drive by consumer

thos Ktms look to have potential...lot of people have been throwing around dirtbike rear horse numbers though thinking the quads are gonna lay the same down to the wheels...i think some may be dissapointed...or at least might not see the numbers they think they will see...but no doubt i think KTM will be right in the front of the pack

if your using a taller cylinder does it come with a longer chain as well in that kit???
