is it turbo charged or supercharged< supercharged would be more sensible as most quad engines dont rev high enough to really "fire" up a turbo, and 93 is easily acheaveble without a turbo.

That thing is a POS and an accident waiting to happen. That man has too much time on his hands. Just think about how much weight he added. Weight to hp ratio would not be worth it just put a turbo on it and be done.

i really caint imagine that thing not being fast. but its not, somthing is definatly not right. i mean just running achohol with nitro ( im assuming thats what hes doing) should make a stock bike rip hard and i dont understand how he just swaps from gas to alky doesnt it take much more alky then fule to run correctly??

Check my videos on youtube, they speak for themselves. You'll see to different kfx's (1 blue, 1 orange) well it's the same one, I just change to orange when I dropped the BBK. You guys have no idea. He would eat you alive. Both those videos are not good. 1st one is just tuning and second one he was not really runing becasue it was too hot for the supercharger. He will have some nice video T-day this year. If anyone goes to dumont he is always at the hill on big weekends.

Yep, the KFX I'm racing makes about 110-117 at the crank. That's without NOS. On nos add about 60hp to that. Still has a hard time getting to 70mph up the hill because our bikes are so heavy. We need all that HP just to keep up with the lighter bikes.

Does the Turbo Busa Hillbilly Banshee have any trouble keeping his front wheels on the ground?

Some quads require wheelspin to launch forward instead of up.
You guys need to learn a little history on this quad before you start picking it apart. I'm not sure there's even one of you that would hang with him.

Ya Ive seen thoes vids and well, looks like the people you race....ummm, dont know how to ride.

Espically the kid the crf.

If either of you could keep the power on the ground and race in a straight line that may be a different story.
But for the most part, keep racing them if you feel good beating them. Aint nothing like racing a bunch of beginners to get the self esteem up.
Ya I bet the rest of you would love to race my TRX with a Taco Bell powered jet motor... Oh ya it has built in wings too. LOL

Here's the thing on the 70mph wall up a steep sand dune. He has enough torque out of the hole to put a good distance on a 450 by 200 feet that you probably wouldn't catch him by the time he got to the top...even if you topped out at 80mph.

Dude we think its cool that he can make something work like that. all we are saying is that for having a roots blower with more cubes then two of are motors, it should be faster, and maybe it is now, we are just going by the video,
also that busa banshee you talk about is stretched like 10" in the front and 10 " in the back. its not in a stock frame, if the kfx has 110whp in a stock frame is should be pulling the wheels just a lilbit don't you think? I mean its hard to keep the front end down when shifting with a 55hp 450, i am not saying your bike has to have the front end in the air to be fast...
All in all its a cool blower set-up

it is stock frame but streched swingarm and 25" rear tires keep the front down. Plus a 450 is half the weight and they do wheelie easy.
as far as racing inexperienced racers I don't think so. Some of those 450's have been racing for awhile and also race in 4 stroke wars

if u was in az id bring my 450 to race u for sure not for bragging rights just for fun win or lose
but when it comes to 4 strokes I think its hard to beat a 55-65 hp 450 based machine my quad has stuck neck n neck with a 737 raptor stretched n im pretted sure a raptor I faster then a KFX I do like them but not for me I almost got my wife one for the ease of the automatic

Yeah, I hear you. It is tough to hang with a quad that weighs 150lbs less... especially eith one that is a shaft driven auto. To bad you aren't closer. There are some pretty darn fast 450's around me. I will try and get some vids of some races. I will most likely get into the motor in my 04 this winter. I have seen first hand how the respond.

I know it is easy to talk smack on the internet but that supercharged bike is slow in the vids... I personally am not impressed that he built it... If he built it to drag race and if it does not perform and that is the one thing it was built for it is a failure. I think that as far as design goes the belt squealing is not designed properly how many S/C cars do you hear that have a constant squeal ? none.. The way it pertrudes into the leg area is not wise what happend when that belt breaks does it take off the riders arm... I know this seems harsh but I am just stating what I see.
