Full Version: Will a rear 450R shock fit on a Z400
I have an 03 Z400 with a bad rear shock but I have a new 05 450R shock sitting. They look almost the same, anyone know off hand if they'll fit?

I tried to install a 06 TRX 450r rear shock on a 05 LTZ 400 & the only problem was I could not load the shock in through the bottom of the swingarm. So I had to remove everything below the seat & install it from the top of the quad.
Works great!!!!

I was always told i would would not work but i have never tried it! Give it a run a guess!
Glamis did the shock ever work?
