i was wondering what you guys over there think about putting a cam with a jet kit in an 07 trx450 with a complete stock exhaust or if even i just get the hrc header with stock muffler, has anyone over there tried that and what were the results? and what cam would you recomend with a stock muffler, i really want a little more power all around but in my area i must keep it quiet with the stock muffler, thanks

are you talking about keeping the baffle in the stock muffler or just keeping the stock can with the baffle in?

i think it would run better with a rossier. nevermind that i know it would run better with a rossier. this would definately be a great pipe to run. in the end if you want to maximize performance you will eventually have to switch to a full pipe. get a rossier and do it right the first time, you won't be dissapointed.

i need to use my stock exhaust or atleast the stock untouched muffler, i cant have a loud exhaust where i ride at otherwise id get an aftermarket one, so my only options are a complete stock exhaust or i could put on the hrc header with the stock muffler with nothing removed from it, so my question is can i get the benifits from a cam swap while maintaining stock exhaust sound

if you have to run a quiet one then you have a few choices

rossier with the supertrapp endcap

venom exhaust

or the hrc header with the fmf Q-series slipon

either one would be quiet and powerful

the venom or rossier with that cap will be around 500 but the hrc/fmf combo would only be about 400

but the venom , and rossier will make more power
