Fellow cheesehead here. I don't know where you are in WI or what type of races you are looking for?
For harescrambles check out AMA District 16. For MX check out Gravity Park USA, Arkansaw MX Park and Tigerton ATV Park. Both Arkansaw and Tigerton have trails also. Also the trail system around Mercer is pretty decent. Let me know where you are and what your looking for. I will then let you know what is available around you.

For the ice races go to fantacymoto.com. I don't know where they are held anymore since they gave up on holding them on Winnebago. I have never been to pine ridge so I can't comment on it. As for Gravity Park it is a pretty decent place. They host the Quadlympics every year which is a two day quad only event(MX,TT and Flat Track. They also have quad classes during the weekly Friday night races. It should only be about a half hour drive for you. It is located right along Hwy 57. Tigerton is also pretty close to you and is a good beginner MX track. Let me know if you need any more info I will try and dig some up for you.

I too would like to see some organized ice racing on Lake Winnebago. It's about 15 mins. from my house. I ran the Freemont race through the central ice racing association last year, and boy do those guys put on a quality program.
A friend of mine got me into it, and it's a blast. So much fun, I ran the district 16 flat track program this summer. Just as much fun, and you meet a ton of great people. Any ???, let me know.

There used to be to be a bunch of different ice races on Winnebago (Waverly Beach, Panes Point, Otter St. ect.) but in recent years our mild winters have made it to risky to try and organize anything. The last time they tried to run one at Waverly Beach it was postponed and rescheduled three times before finally they gave up after dropping the plow truck in. But I live on the East shore about 5 minutes from the lake and there are always people that plow there own tracks. So if you want to ride the ice this winter get ahold of me.

I'm up on the U.P. border. Over in Escanaba MI. I think they still have a winter series on Little Bay De Noc.

check out glqra.com for races.
Doug Gust and Scotty Biese from Fantasy Moto are building a new track at the Tigerton facility. It should be done this fall. I've been racing in this area for 10 years, let me know if you have any questions about anything.
Pine Ridge and Gravity park are completly different. Gravity is a stadiumcross track set outside, tight turns good dirt/clay, etc... Pine Ridge is a big outdoor track that is mostly sand.

i am going to try and make a couple races too. what class are you going to run?? do a lot of people show up? how big are the tracks? i messed around on a couple ovals last winter but never ran a actual race, so it should be fun.

There is. It's right off of I-41. It's a pretty aggressive track. More bikes there than quads usually.

Denmark WI Here. For District 16 Hare Scrambles go to rpaoffroad.com. I compete in these and currently am practicing at the Kewaunee ATV Park quite a bit since the next event is there. There is also Sports and Competiton (Denmark MX). I am a member of this club and can ride there when ever I want. Contact me if you want to try some Hare Scramble practice or want to check out the Denmark Track and learn more about the club.
