what can i do to make my 250r haul ass i want to sand drag it but i also want it reliable
right now its just the stock motor with a dg pipe and airbox eliminator
and im also what kind of jetting i should be running i havent had a 2 stroke inawhile

I would start out with a different pipe. The FTZ and Dr. Q are said to be the best for top end power. I would also send the cylinder out for porting and a bigger carburetor. 12/39 is great gearing for 2nd gear launches in sand drag racing with Haulers on the rear. You will want to lower the front end but keep some wide front tires so your bike will "plane up" in the sand.

I know a guy who ports LT's very well. P.M. me and I'll give you his number as I think its a No No to say it on the forums.

my uncle had an LT a few years ago, it had a full FMF exhaust and was jetted, and i think it had a piston too, it hauled. i don't know how fast it really was because i was around 10 or 11 years old when i rode it and it felt stupid fast to me. but i still say that even riding it now, it would be pretty quick.
