I think I may have got one fron the first batch because I had to beat thr S@#T out of them with a rubber mallet to get them on. I then had to finish drilling out some of the holes to get the bolts to go through. So the install was a huge pain in the ass. But after I got them on they are very sturdy. I just hope I never have to take them off because I may as well have tig welded them on because they aint movin!!!

I just added a set of the race peg's and they went right together. The foot peg mounts were a little tricky but other than that it went smooth.

I had a hell of a time putting mine on too.
Later realized that I installed the foot peg mounts on the wrong sides. Changed them around and everything went together perfectly. The directions didn't really state which one was left and right, so I figured the curved end followed the curvature of the frame and put it pointed down. WRONG!!! This will also make them sit a little lower. Learn from your mistakes I guess!
I love the Pro Armor Fat series. They are strong as hell and a breeze to install, if done correctly!

It took me about an hour to put mine on, with a few bumps along the way. But once they're on they're on...and way sturdy. I've whacked a few rocks with mine and they've held up awesome, and I love they way they look.
I have the once that reuse the stock pegs.

installed a set of pro armor's last weekend and what a pile of crap to install. left side lined up perfectly, right side tho was a b!*#$. took me and my buddy about two hours of tweaking to get everything lined up perfect without stripping the frame bolt holes. if anyone still wants pictures lemme know

i got the set with the heel guards, not sure if that makes a difference. ill try to get a few pics up tonight after work hopefully. i know off the top of my head that mine came with 2 longer bolts to go thru the bottom of the a-arms, 2 smaller bolts to go thru the footpegs, and 4 tabs to hold the netting to the frame (2 each side) and i think that was all that came with it.

Make sure you put the part of the nerfs that connect to the pegs on first. You can use your stock a-arm bolts instead of the longer ones that pro armor gives you.

i get of work at 11 pst so soon as i get home ill take some quick shots of the areas. you use the bolts that hold the pegs on to hold the nerfs on there as well, but the a-arm bolts are definatly longer. i'm sure i still have the instruction's in my tool box so ill see if i can find some bolt sizes and try to take a good picture

Thanks man, Im about 70 miles from you if your in vegas. We should meet up and ride sometime. Theres some real good riding in Laughlin, if you like the desert.
So there should be bolts that came with the nerfs, or use the stockers, except where the pegs mount? Right? They mount to the a-arms? Im confused with this and Ive had many sets of nerfs.

yea i heard about laughlin, still trying to save a few pennies for a trailer so i dont have to always rely on my roomates in laws trailer. i usually ride up in apex near nellis afb and the vegas speedway if your at all familiar with that.
im 100% positive you need longer bolts where they bolt up to the a-arms. yea you use the same apex bolts that are in holding the pegs on right now. should be home in an hour and a half, depending on traffic from base and ill take some pics and post em up

I've got them also, hardest mounting point for me is where it hooks up with the rear fender bracket, the stock holes were trashed in the process of attempting to put them on, I've been deployed the last 4 months and get home in August so the install will continue then. They look great though, and I can't wait to try them out.

but mine were a bastard too.
put the footpeg mounts on upside down first time... it was complete hell getting them back off.
flipped them the right way, it was a little easier but not by much
