Hi

working on a kasea 90 and am wondering how to change the trans oil. I see a filler cap and below a drain bolt. But I have no idea how much to put in or what type of oil to put in. The filler cap doesn't have a dipstick. It's either a CVT or centrifical clutch transmission. When you put on the gas it moves. No forward, reverse, or neutral. It's a 2 stroke 90 that looks like a 400ex.

So that's my question. I don't have a shop book or even an owners manual for the damn thing. And don't know what places do any service on them that I could ask questions.

hey bro my lil nephew has a Unison 90 wich is a knock off of the predator 90/kasea 90 and its an 03 also, we bought it for him brand new in the box on 04 and this thing rips, 3 years and we have NOT had any problems with it, the only thing we had to replace is the chain that snapped at Glamis a year ago, anyways you gotta drain it and fill it up until it starts to come out of the overflow lil hose that is on the side/bottom of that back motor/cvt clutch area, you cant miss it, sand and sea toyz out here in OC rents out predator 90s all the time and the mechanic whos a pro(he installed my hotcam and jetted my 450) told me thats all you do.. fill it until it starts coming out of the lil hose, hope this helps but its easy....oh yeah if you want to build that thing go to hetrickracing.com, they have a mess of stuff to make it haul a$$...we have the hetrick pipe and clutch kit on my lil nephews. good luck..Peace

7-8 oz. of gear case oil will do you just fine. I have parts and service manuals for alot of the mini's, as we have been racing them for the last 4 years. I am building one right now that is worth about 10k. Fox Floats, Axis, Disc brkes, carbon fiber steering stem, carbon fiber axle and more custom mods than I care to remember making. If you need anything, let me know.

also, would hp4 work for oil, it's what I use in my 450r trans

yeah bro go ahead and use the hp4, thats what we've been using with no problems, i use the left overs after changing my 450s and my bros 400s oil....oh yeah ill let you know about pismo on the 27th cuz we've been wanting to hit pismo soon cuz inland is hella hot
