I got my ASR a arms today (the 2nd set) and guess what??? THEY DONT FIT!!!!! this is the second set that doesnt fit from them so im sending them back and im getting leagers and elka long travel. I ordered them about a month ago and got them late (two weeks) and they didnt fit. So i called the company and the dude said no problem send them back and ill get ya a new set. The guy at ASR should be happy that god has put such a large distance between us cuz he would probably be dead right now. They came late.. (again) they didnt fit..(again) and he gave me a bunch of BS (again). he told me (on the 2nd set) "yea, i double checked to see if they fit the jig and ill powder coat em tomorrow and send them the next day.. that was monday last week. I called him yesterday wondering where they were and he said " well they should be there today. I had some problems and didnt send em till tuesday" do the figuring... he didnt send them till the begining of this week!!! The first time he BSd me was when i ordered the first set and about 2 weeks later I called him to ask where they were.. he told me "Oh, theyre right here.. Ill send them today." well when my mom got home she brought a big box down to the shop and it was my a arms. thats some pretty dang fast shipping, from utah to washington in about 4 hours. To top this all off, the stuff was packed in fiberglass insulation.. trust me, that stuff is just so much fun to play with. NOT!! My next phone call to him will go something like this "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHYOU GUYS SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! post-696-1105671448.gif " always remember.. dont buy ASRs, and do it right the first time. thumbsup.gif

Love my leager's pro-trax and my Elka Elites, would'nt trade them for anything else. Peep out ther swing arm super strong. I had no problems at all on the install or riding, after 2 years of riding hard.

I bought a set of arms from ASR in November for a Christmas present for my sons Blaster. They didn't arrive untill 2 days before Christmas. He knew he was getting them and sold his Burgard a arms. Well............Christmas day he went to put them on and they didn't fit. I was told to send them back and they would overnite the correct ones. A week later they arrived. The new ones fit but he sent the wrong tie rods. Again I was told he would overnite them. A little over a week the tie rods arrived.

Ohh,by the way ours was shipped in insulation also. After all the bull,my son did like his ASR arms better then the stock arms and better then the Burgard arms.

Soooo.........
You want to murder this individual because your a-arms don't fit?
Man, I'd hate to see what happens to mom if she's late bringing you your lunch!

On another note-
I am glad to see this post as I was wondering about the quality of those parts.

Haha, it was just a joke. rofl.gif

I would suggest NOT buying them (obviously). They are a waist of time.

Yep, they were "on sale" for about $350. So it was a good price, but not a good product.

One more reason to support the sponsors on the site! eBay is good, but IMO not for items such as suspension or engine. I've even seen someone selling head porting on eBay. What a joke!!!

Britboy is selling a nice New set of Rated X Long Travel arms for a dam good price! If your looking to keep the cost down I would suggest finding a set on here somewhere or contact Dave at JD Performance.

I bought alot of things off ebay no problem, diffrence is I didnt buy junk and with that it might be your brain that likes junk so blame yourself not ebay and next time choose a better brand which will cost you alot more, again you get what you pay for and you paid for junk it will be junk no matter where they came from!
buddy
Yeah, junk is junk --- quite poeitic sure.gif . My buddy bought a set of Epic a-arms off of goldenwest once. Same problem --- would not fit and after being shipped about a million different parts to try to get them to fit, the folks at GW finally agreed to give him a really good deal on a set of Laegers, which fit perfectly. Not trying to say that all epic a-arms are junk (who knows), but I will say ---i really like laegers.

no_bashing1.gif ...please. I did research on them and heard a lot of good things about them, I guess I never heard enough bad stuff. I just needed these to get me through this summer, then I was going to do long travel leagers, but obviously they are overpriced crap (the ASRs) because there $500 new.. I would never pay that for those arms now.

quadking450r
i was going to get them, i heard good things to. but didn't want ebay stuff.... so i went with JD performance.... cheapest and best a-arms otu there... the price doesnt suit the quality, these could easily be sold for 900+ dave makes quality stuff man. laeger is cool, but your buying a name, more then the a-arms.. the a-arm quality is definitely there... but then they decided to jack the price up... IMO not cool... i'd rather be buying parts...

What about those new Housers --- they sound pretty interesting---the arm actually adjusts the camber, caster, whatever it is --while you ride to give you better stability in the straight away and better cornering. sounds pretty cool.

They were like a 1/4 inch off, I did take some pictures heres one... http://i166.photobucket.com/albums/u89/450...42/PIC_1308.jpg Im still having troubles with ASR, ive been contacting them through email since i sent the arms back and the sales guy keep telling me "oh i dont deal with the returns" " my boss does this stuff so ill have to talk to him" and yada yada yada, so im starting to think if i get my money back ill be lucky. But i got my elka/leagers setup on it and havent had a single problem so far.

those ASR arms would have fit perfect..... if you just read the instuctions rtfm.gif and then cut the a-arm tabs off and moved them back and re welded.. ...whats the big deal...LOL thumbsup.gif

MY Roll Design fit like a glove..I was almost upset.. I do not think I even had to say one curse word while I was installing them... bleh.gif
