My dad as a 06 kfx700 with k&n filter clutch kit and hmf dual exhaust he is planning a trip up to marysvalle utah last time he went up there the bike was stock. I was just wondering if any buddy has been up there with a kfx700 and what jetting they needed because it's jetted for las vegas right now. We plan on running it with the air box lid on up their so when he gets up to the really high mountain levels he can just take the lid off. Any help would be appreciated.

Need to know the elevation #s, also there's absolutely no gains what so ever taking the lid off, it is dyno proven that it hurts, something about the stock carbs need some vacuum. I'd 12 1" holes on around the lid though. With the 12 1" holes and duals I'd start at 180-180 at sea level.

I think they will be at 6-7000 and can go up to 10,000. Are you talking about the lid on just the kfx's or all bikes in general

Just the stock 32mm carbs on the kfx, I run 36mm on mine w/ no airbox at all.
10,000 feet above sea level? Wow! Do the mods I posted above and start at 160-165 for 6-7000 feet.
