Do your self a favor and avoid the ALBA "Pro Elite" nerf bars they mount poorly and the quality is terrible. Returned them in person to the store and let them know that my 112# neice bent the bars when installed by just stepping on them. I purchased the AC racing nerf bars and I myself at 220# can stand on them and they don't even flex! Just wanted to warn everyone.

Thanks, What did they say about the situation? It seems that those bars would be much stronger than that. I have been happy with my AC's too, a lot of people talk bad about them but they have always been good to me! :D

Do your AC's vibrate when your in the upper RPM range, cause mine do, maybe I just need to retighten them

The design is bad. The AC's have the 2 ends that inner lock on themselves. The ALBA ones dont just the bolt to the motormount with the spacer. I went back once and double checked the install and the set-up is not good. They mentioned they would talk to the supplier (JAPAN) and have them fixed but they have 500 pairs on slow boat from overseas. There will be 500 unhappy customers!!

All my AC parts are very strong and I have had zero problems. The ProPegs do need tightend once in a while but I dont consider that a problem.
I looked at the Alba nerfs and just from the pics on their site they look weak from the way the mount.

trxjwb, use a little silicone around the mointing points if you want the vibration to go away, mine used to do it when I would open it up, belly skids are good at doing this too, use pipe insulation around the frame and put the skid back on. Someone may have a better solution but this worked well for me.

Thanks for the review about the alba nerfs. Also, team alba racing has raised the prices of the nerf bars from $119.99 to $159.99. They also raised the prices of their front bumper from $59.99 to $79.99.

I have a set of the Alba nerfs in black and have been happy with them. You are right about the mounting not being the best but the nerfs seem to be pretty tough. I've jumped on them and they never bent on me(135lbs) so i dont know what to say about that. All in all i like these nerfs and they look alot better than the ac's dull alum, with the black anodizing.

You guys do know that Tusk makes the Alba nerf right?
I thought they were the best fitting nerfs we've put on a bike. They are weak but you arent suppose to stand on nerfs anyways.

THEY DO HAVE A NON-REPLACEABLE FOOT PEG(THAT ARE MUCH LARGER THAN STOCK AND HAVE VERY SHARP POINTS).THATS A VERY GOOD QUESTION AS FAR AS THEM WEARING OUT.I'M NOT SURE IF THATS POSSIBLE.DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THE UM PEG WEARS OUT AND HOW LONG DOES THAT TAKE?

does someone need to draw you a map to turn off the flippin caps lock, makes it look like your yelling and its seriously annoying. And yes they will wear out, may take a year, may take 2, etc., but they will wear out.

if you can get a hold of the new atv 4 wheel action they did a review on them in the back...the peg is non replaceable and aluminum so they will wear out rather quickly. I dont know how long but they definately will.

I have the UM pro pegs nerfs on my KFX and I have had zero issues with them. They have been on for about a year now and I ride a lot (mostly XC) I have also been to their shop. It's in Las Vegas. They are good people and also took my suggestions on how they could better one area of the KFX Nerfs. I would by them over the AC Nerfs I have on my TRX now. I'm tired of the damn rattle
