I’ve been considering going BIG with my LTZ400’s for a while now…

Parts already installed: HotCams, Full Exhaust, Intake mods

ADD:

HotRods +5mm stroker crank with a 0.125” spacer under the jug.

94mm piston

Honda TRX450R carburetor

Any one here running a BB Stroker LTZ-400?

Build in work now. No spacer - bought the right piston to start with.

Is there enough play in the timming chain to use a spacer plate without going to a longer chain?
We are getting ready to build a nasty 470 and plan on doing the spacer so we can utilize the venom high comp piston.

Yes you can build with a spacer, there are several kits that use it. Obviously your going to need to retime the camshafts. I'd recommend going to a MCCT.
