Paul at Woodward Specialties hooked me up with this externally adjustable fuel screw and all I can say is .. there is nothing that I can complain about it! I installed it in about 7 minutes .. taking pictures at the same time!
First, you will need to loosen these two screws to turn your carb:

Here you can see the stock fuel screw with the carb twisted:

Carefully unscrew the fuel screw so the spring, washer, and o-ring don't fall off:

Place these three things in the same order that they were on the stock screw onto Woodward's fuel screw .. you will then screw his screw back into the hole the stocker came out of until it is snug and loosen it about 2 and a half turns out (depending on your mods, of course). Twist your carb back and line up the notch on the carb and the air boot that I couldn't get in the pic .. but you will be able to see when you do this:

You are done! One of the easiest, cheapest mods you can do .. and it can save you a couple of burns while trying to fine-tune your fuel screw!
You can get these at Woodward Specialties for $16 shipped for members B)

Dez, you are looking at this .. and I figured I might as well have it approved by another mod. You can delete this once you move it if I don't need to change anything .. B)

QUOTE(dez @ Dec 16 2004, 09:47 PM)
kid,
do you notice the same amount of turns as the stocker?
does it look as a duality a part as the stocker?
if so, count me in ...
I haven't fine-tuned it yet, but the instructions say to turn it about 2-1/2 turns out
I'll try running it tomorrow to let you know for sure .. and it looks very close to the stocker .. less threads but I don't think that will be an issue. I can let you know all the details tomorrow .. right after school B)

I read somewhere on here that it will be either more or less turns than the stock one??? I think I read this in woodwards area in the sponsors section? Let us know when you get it dialed in KID so we all know for sure
