i want to have a pinned thread with this stuff in it so it will hopefully answer a lot of questions i routinely answer.....

Porting Service:

a) Porting + Polishing + combustion chamber re-working = $525.00

b) Venom will also cut fresh valve seats for NEW valves at no extra charge if done at the same time as porting...

c) New Kibblewhite valves are usually $35 each for the SS Black Diamonds...

d) Kibblewhite Valve Spring kits with Tiatanium retainers go for $210 for 4 valve heads....

e) seat cutting and bowl work for +1mm oversize valves runs an extra $50 per valve..... and no, oversize valves are not necessary in almost all applications

Turn Around Time is usually less than 3 weeks from receiving the head...to getting the head shipped out the door.... we always do our best to get work back to customers in a timely fashion....

What to ship:

1) the head with only the valves and springs left in it.... please do NOT send the shims ...buckets...spark plug...cam towers...etc..

2) include a note with : contact info... full list of mods....intended use of machine...

3) IMPORTANT notice!!!.... styrofoam packing "peanuts" are the work of the Underworld (styro peanuts are the official packing material of Hell) ..... there will be an extra $20 "shop floor exorcism" charge added to any heads that come packed in styrofoam peanuts!!.... J\K on the charge...but please don't pack in styro peanuts if you can help it...

I read the one about sweet talking the secretary, My 06 R took a dump on me before I left for baghdad, I get back in the middle of Nov, can I still get that pricing? Also how do you guys stack up to the claimed 53 pony's that CT makes out of their Baja package? I think I need a new piston as I believe there is no compression and I could not even pull start my R. I figured that I would get porting done at the same time. The exhaust pipe was glowing red right before she quit, any advise? thanks for all you great prices.

53HP is no problem at all...... and nobody's powerbands are wider than Venom's..... so your 53 would come with a killer curve to go with that peak number.....

you need either the HRC jet kit.... or all the jets from the same year CRF dirt bike carb...all the stock jets\ settings are too lean......

added to the pipe you already have:
Hot Cams stg2 + Venom porting +Venom piston....along with correct jetting...will get you your 53HP and a killer powerband to go with it

great will talk to her, what size jet do I need already have it jetted for for full pipe, velocity filter with no lid. and do you think the piston, porting will fix her? hot cam with the rest, you can do all that or do I need to buy the hot cam stg 2 somewhere else. Also is the piston and all hard to install? Thanks again, appreciate the reply.

i have hot cams in stock...no problem there

everyone needs to learn sometime...but i don't recommend anyone without experience doing a piston install.... 99.9% of the big mistake failures come from inexperienced tuners......

and even though i have been doing this stuff my whole life (i'm 46).... i ALWAYS buy an OEM service manual for every machine i deal with.... better $$ simply cannot be spent .....

I am just wondering how much it would cost me to have you port and polish the head of my 04' trx450r put in one of the 12.25 pump gas pistons, install a stage 2 hot cam, and jet it. My warranty is expiring so it is time to go into the motor. I have experience working on cars as i worked at a dealership for about 5 years during and after highschool but better opportunity took me away from cars about a year ago. I dont have a lot of experience working on small engines though!!! unbolting block halfs, what is that?!?! I worked on the cadillac northstar and it wasnt like that. so any help would be awesome.

dump those cast wheels asap.... it's like bolting 2 huge flywheel weights to your axle...!!

Actually i took the pictures in my driveway but i used to roller blade on the celery flats along time ago. I have some haulers coming on douglas wheels. I am letting my cousin run the sandstars on his predator. They work great from side hilling and cruising around but really bog my quad down in racing. I got the set for 300 dollars with 1 trip on them, i guess some guy bought from from paw paw cycle for his 300ex and didnt like them so i bought them up for cheap. Hopefully here soon i can throw one of your 12.25 pistons and a port job on my quad.

I am pretty sure that it is 350...... You can rest assured that John won't sell you anything that is unreliable......

more power is always more stress on an engine..... no 2 ways about it.... if they made zero power they would literally last forever.....

it doesn't matter what you do to increase power either...whether it's a pipe or a cam or an air filter....more power is always more stress....
