I've had these knee braces for about a year. They have the most coverage I've seen yet. They cover 6" below the knee to 6" above the knee and they're made out of a carbon fiber mold and have padding from top to bottom to protect your skin and bones. There adjustablity is next to none which allows you to make the adjustments you need to make a proper fit.
They will not let your leg hyperextend or twist and like anything else you will get use to wearing them. They felt a little funny when I first wore them! But, after my first wreck which the quad landed right on top of my legs. I knew that I had the right braces. I was able to stand right up after a bad accident with the quad. Also they are very light weight and once you get used to them you can walk run or do anything else for that matter. Thery are a little bulky, but it doesn't hender you from riding!! :)

EDIT:The Cell asterisk knee braces without a doubt, is the most advanced-designed knee brace I have ever seen. It has an orthopedic background and comes with a custom fit device through the riders own simple adjustment. If you need superior protection for your knees, then I suggest you get these braces. They come in 5 sizes which is SM,MED,LG,XL,XXL. To ensure a proper fit, they take the circumference measurements of your leg to make sure you have a comfortable fit! :D

I would recomend these knee braces to everyone. diffently a must when riding..

They also come with a sleeve for your leg so the braces don't pinch your skin!!
:D

Do they effect your mobility? Also, do they weigh very much?

There very light and you can adjust them to your liking. They're however a little bulky, but nothing you can't get use to. Thanks for the questions Luke. It helps me with the write up's. :D

Do they come in different sizes? Or, is it one size fits all? What about material of construction?

Hey Rico, How do these knee braces fit under your riding pants??? Did you need to get bigger pants for more room at the knee??

Thanks

Justin

Also thanks for your post, been needing a set!!!

Justin, most ,if not all riding pants make room for the knee braces. I have 360's and about 4 pairs of 180's and the braces fit in all of them. Hope that helps. :) Protect those knee's, you only have two. Plus, it cost 30 thousand dollars for knee sugury so $550 is not a bad price if you ask me!! :D

I have a CTi2 for my right knee and a asterek for my left. Also asterek shoulder brace for r/l . Order one size larger for application. They are o.k. but nothing compared to custom IMO. That would be fit and finish.

I wore them for one ride. With the sleeves that you wear under them, It's just too damn hot. I'd rather break a leg than die of heat stroke.
