Just wondering for those who have done it, what I can do to give it some more power. I'd like to do something very similar to what I did to my R. Any recommendations as to what brand full exhaust and cams? Appreciate any info....thanks.

Well I just picked up a Big Gun Evo Limited exhaust and a 13 tooth front sprocket. Thinking about ordering a Pro Design Uni filter set-up. Not sure if I should remove lid...modify the lid or drill a couple a couple of holes on the bottom of the box?? I'll install the cams next year, when my son get's a little more experienced.

Definately pull the lid off. When I had my Z,I installed the yoshi TRC tri oval, and with the lid, it was ok. With the lid off, it was alot better. Consider the outerwares lid for extra protection too. I would suggest the NOSS billet flange, with a uni pod filter. The stock set up allows the filter to come loose, and suck dust in. Atleast with a clamp on filter, its a tight seal. I seen where people went to local auto parts stores, such as autozone and get a filter flange in the "ricer" section, and use a filter from there, or get a uni. Price of the flange from AZ is around 15 bucks.

I ended up taking out the entire stock air box and installed a Velocity Intake with KNN filter with outerwears. I also installed a Big Gun Evo Limited exhaust and after all this the Z runs so much better than before.
