Hi, I am embarking into unfamiliar territory. I made a deal with a friend that if I work on his Predator I can barrow his box trailor for the week. What I am looking to do:

Slip-on pipe
New intake system
Re-jet the carb

What I'm hopping for is some opinions. What pipe should I get, something that makes good power all around or at least bottom-mid. Looking for an intake to replace the bad OEM one. Neccessary mods to make vent lines work. And then some idears as to where I should start with the jetting. Does the pilot need increasing on these things?

BTW it's an 06 or 07 troy lee edition

Thanks a bunch if you could help me out. Would really apreciate it. wub.gif

HMF all the way...Ive got the Bill Ballance edition and its really nice. Loud though. I got my intake from rathracing, its a Kn with a billet adapter. How much is he looking to spend?, if moneys no object send the carb to nicholascycle he mods it and jets it and it runs!

what does he do to the carb?
I think for now he is going to stick with the intake, jetting, and pipe. If anything, down the road I'd tell him to get an Edelbrock or fcr. Can't stand those vacuum carbs.

I used to have an HMF on my R, good pipe, was def one of my choices. And I looked at the rath intake set up, good too. Are those just the 11doh1.gif answers I should I known? Or are there anything better?

he grinds out alot of the channels and really opens it up. He does like 15 mods to it, alot of people switch it out for a 450r carb but those that take the edelbrock avenue usually switch back. Just my observation.

never edelbrock, it ran fine, but when it started having problems, they never stopped until i took it off and got my money back.
