When they say put the needle on the third clip, does this mean the third clip from the top of the needle or from the bottom. Thanks for your guys help.

I think the HRC needle on has 5 clip positions, so in this case it doesn't matter! bleh.gif Sorry, couldn't resist, hehe.

But to answer your question, you count clip positions from the top of the needle (blunt end). i.e Clip position 2 will drop the needle farther into the jet than say clip position 4. thumbsup.gif

good question...... common misconception is when someone talks about raising/lowering the needle..... to raise the NEEDLE (richen) you need to LOWER the clip...and vice-versa.....

so what happens is this...someone may say "raise the needle one clip"... and instead of 'lowering' the clip on the needle to perform this task....they inadvertantly 'raise' the clip one notch....this of course will have a negative effect on the outcome....

raising the needle = lowering the clip = richer...

lowering the needle = raising the clip = leaner....

sorry....more useless info....Greg

put the cam in......

no if's, and's, or butt's......

the stock cam is the weakest link in this machine.......that HRC cam will make your R come alive.... trust me.....
