Racing Fuel Mixing Chart



100 Octane Unleaded Racing Gasoline is the ideal fuel for the high performance enthusiast who requires unleaded fuel. With the use of this custom blending chart, you can economically reach the exact octane number your vehicle requires. First determine the octane number you desire. Then fill your tank with the number of gallons of Unleaded Super 92 octane. Unleaded gasoline enhanced with alcohol should not be used. Next add the number of gallons of 100 Octane Unleaded Racing Gasoline. Blending to the desired octane number will be automatically accomplished.

Lately I've really come to realize, just how much online reference material is available for the 450R. If you scour the .ORG you'll find it full of links, charts and diagrams that can make life so much easier. I thought I would start a thread to allow us consolidate this information into something that's more readily accessible. Maybe put something together worth getting pinned for future use. I've tried to get us started by compiling the different online references that I've grown to know and love. I want to apologize now for any mistakes their may be and I want to make sure to recognize those that created some of these references. I've tried to make note of it when I know there is someone to thank, but if I have missed something or somebody please let me know. This is all other peoples time and effort given to us to make life a little easier. I'm looking forward to seeing what other jewels of information people know about. If we could just try our best to keep the reply's clean, clear and simply about facts and numbers as opposed to opinion and debate. Lastly, keep in mind that we want this to be easily searchable in the future. So make sure to clearly label and title the information, links, graphs or diagrams that your posting.

Can anyone post the instructions for the 2006 HRC KIT installation please?

you just saved my life gumby. my R is missing a lot of little bolts and bushings and whanot, little stuff you lose easily. and i have been running it "ghetto" with home made fixes to some of the stuff that i dont ahve. now i can get it all from the manual and call my stealership to have them ordered.

I have a stock 450er 06 and bought a HRC kit for it. I only have the HRC manual that cam with it and it does not tell you how to install the cam. Does anyone have the service manual for the 06-07 models?

The instruction for the cam installation are the same as the one listed above for the 04/05 I believe.

I moved up from a 300ex I've riden for the last 6 years to my 450er. What a difference! Can't wait to see the difference the HRC kit will do to it.

The Valve Clearances might be different though. The manual you got with the kit should have them. You will be impressed with the difference in the HRC kit. Pretty much night and day.
