Dam Rico, has that thing even seen dirt? You got that thing what 3 months ago. If you need someone to break it in, I guess I could find the time if you buy the air fair.

lol
The skins look good. I read on another post that the rear covers make the shock heat up quickly and then take longer to cool down. Any experience with that.

I recently installed the dirt skinz covers as well. They look great IMO and they seem to work well. No shifting or twisting after a full weekend of riding. They are very tight on there, but the velcro held strong with no signs of trying to come apart. They were kinda dirty after the weekend, but a minimal amount of effort had them clean as new. Great product.

Glad everyone likes them
Dan, as far as heating up the rear shock. If your racing and the shock is taking a pounding then yes you should not have a cover on the rear shock for heating purpose. But, most of us ride for fun and will not pound on the shock for two or three hours at a time. Its mostly ride fast but not flat out without a break. So for the normal rider that doesn't race leave it on because it looks damn cool

I just went with the standard dirtskins

Mine came in on Tuesday, got the same black plain dirt skins and a free t-shirt!!!
I took my shocks off. Took em apart and cleaned everything up real good before installing the covers. It's incredible how much gunk and grim gets in the shocks. But after a good cleaning they seem to be working top notch, better than before the cleaning for sure! Now I'm hoping that the covers will help keep them that way!
On another note, I think that with the GT Thunder conversion you need to take them apart and clean things up once and a while. The spring slider really gets gummy and seem to want to stick. They work just like they did after Laz did he did his magic! Clean is Good!

Kinda hijacking your thread here but it is on the same topic...
WHO IS INTERESTED IN THE SHOCK COVERS MADE OF THE SAME MATERIAL BUT PLAIN COLORS, NO LOGOS?
I really like the neoprene material however I hate logos. I finally found a guy who sells them and was willing to do a bulk order. They ended up being cheaper than dirt skins. PM me if you are interested and I will try to figure out pricing. Plus get a set for myself first to check the quality.

hmmmmmmmmm, sounds good
will the bulk buy all need to be the same color ?
I could use a few sets for the family quads (Im not crazy about logo's either but the quality of dirtskins are great)

I will shoot the guy and email and see what he has to say. And like I said I want to get a single set first and make sure the quality if up to par.
