I should have known better than to buy another set of AC nerf bars.
The first pair I bought about a year ago for a 04 Predator fit like they were built for another quad, I had to make a new mounting bracket for the front just to get 2 bolts to line up.
So like a dumbass I bought another set for an 06 TRX 450. Of course they fit like sh!t, were missing the mounting bolts for the replacable pegs, sent the wrong color nets, (which I could live with) except one side was missing the heel guard strap. I called AC & tried to explain the problem w/ the netting, they needed me to e-mail them a photo before they would send me the correct netting & mounting bolts. After receiving the photo they determined the netting was defective & assured me the correct items would be sent out that day, that was 2 weeks ago!!! & I still have not received anything.
I am totally convinced that AC Racing is a joke!!!

I have had slight fitment issues with AC as well, it has taken me quite a bit of time to get my Nerfs and bumper on the last couple time I purchased their products.
They cost a little more but you might want to look into Pro Armor the next time you need some, they are nice quality and fit well.

I can weigh in on these since I own a set.
Pros:
Removable pegs
netting for heel plates (no more mud catcher)
Cons:
installation stinks
craftmanship is lack luster
I received all of the mounting hardware, but installation was very difficult on these. Now that they are on, they are adequate, and overall I like the look of them. The attention to detail in manufacturing is WAY below par. The AC stamp on the heelguards is off center on one of mine, and the other is stamped, but it isn't complete. It didn't get stamped straight on.
They do the job of protection, and when they are clean they look pretty cool. I do like the removable foot pegs, but I wish the cut on the pegs was more agressive, but at least its removable so you don't have to shell out 200 for a whole new set of nerfs.

Just got my Creech set with the black finish. I must say the craftsmanship looks second to none. I'm not sure if someone has done a review yet but if not I would be happy to.

i just put some ac nerfs on. didn't fit the best. also the finish is absolutely horrible. my nerfs look like someone took an electrict engraver and scribbled all over the metal bars. same with the ac mudscreen bumper. they also received a phone call from me.

A/C is junk.... My quad came with there gay nerfs and front bumper on it, I made the same mistake of buying the new blacklines for my chicks new 400EX and they fit like crap! Took almost 2hrs and ALOT of fabricating to make fit and work! That company needs a lesson on "quality NOT quanity"! I will NEVER buy another thing from them again! CRAPPPPP!!!!!!

exactly dudes. i bought some AC propegs from ships45-r and the left side hole for the engine mount was at least a couple mm off and i had to drill at it to make it wider so it would fit. other than that, i love them.

AC's are addictive because they look really good. Their nerfs and bumpers have the best look (IMO) out of all the companies. The problem though, is you see the look in magazines or on other ppls quads, but you don't ask them how well they are holding up or what it took to get them installed. My propeg w/heels were a bizniggle just like BATCHes were. The mount was way off. The front dirtscreen I have needed "tweaking" too. Other than having to adjust for poor fit and cutting off the heel gaurds to fit my foot I like the look.
But then again that takes me back to the addiction. Do I buy another set hoping it's my time to get the good guality one allocated at the beginning of the year?
That should be AC's new slogan.
"Addictively bought, soarly sold"
"Hit or miss, like Jay Leno"
"You'll be sorry,........again"

Well i guess im not the only one out there. Ordered a set of ac nerfs with the heel guards\pro pegs. Went to put them on and front mounting tabs were at least a 1.5-2 inches off. Talked to ac they said id have to send them pics. Called motosport where i ordered them from and they told me its a common problem with the ac stuff. So i sent them back and ordered a set of pro armor fat pegs. Gonna install them this weekend ill let you guys know how they fit. So far they look great.

The black nerfs scratch really easily,
And they snap rather easy.
My friend jumped and one of his feet land on them snapped them right off the mounts.

i love the way they mount. its very simple and stay on like no other. i never had problems with them coming lose or anything. and whenw e transported the quad in the bed of the truck together with coolers and what not, it was just one bolt to remove and the nerf slid off
mine went on real easy. i love the way they look. it took me awile to get used to the way they feel, but now i wouldn't go without them. i think a lot of the people that had problems may have installed incorrectly.
mine are powdercoated black and after about 6 months of use they still look and feel brand new. i only ride at the dunes so they don't get banged on rocks and trees too much.
