Im going to try to do a detailed valve review on these shocks. I hated having to hear "They are awesome, or "they are worth it." to base a $600 decision off of. I will try to explain why the are worth it with maybe some videos and definately pictures. I hope you all will enjoy. The shocks got sent out today so as soon as I receive them back I will do the review. Anything you might want to know ask me so I can have your question in my head right when I start to ride.

I definately dont have access to sand but I will let you know how they handle through the trails and rough sections and if its actually worth the money. popc1.gif

Its hard to compare this but i will anyway...

My friends GT Thunder rear shock and linkage was not up to par with my Derisi zps and linkage (by the way the linkage for both was exactly the same)

No doubt the Derisi setup offered a much nicer ride and actually helped to keep the front end down as it squated when hitting the gas and accelerating. I just like zps suspension i guess.

It was literally the difference between being thrown off the bike when hitting the upper gears real fast over the whoops in stock form vs total control with the derisi setup

Both setups are good but the derisi zps was better for sure.

Jumbo, im not posting this to bash, you will like the GT Thunder setup ALOT better than the stock setup. It was not in anyway shape or form a waste of money. Its really not comparing apples to apples because the derisi had zps vs standard GT Thunder shock. I believe they were similarly priced though.

Oh and yes, i took 4 ever to get the shocks back but for the price, it was great.

I got a really good deal on these GTThunder shocks and my wait for these shocks is taking a lot longer then I expected. If I could go back in time I prob. would have went with santo but I heard some horror stories of over a month wait with him and I just couldnt risk that but unfortunately it looks like this is happening with me at GT Thunder. one reason is USPS too a week to deliver the shocks to him tho yet hes only 2 states away? Everyone told me to go with GTThunder so I did after I found this really good deal that saved me over $100. and whats with everyone not liking these progressve springs hes using? people say its hard to adjust the ride height with them?
