I just bought a Gforce for 200 bucks. Comes with a lifetime warranty and if it bends or breaks the only cost to me is the shipping it to them. Thats it, thats all. They even pay for the shipping back to me.
At least that is what they told me when I bought it.
Heck, for the 200 bucks I plan on buying another one as a spare just incase I bend or break it. That way I wont lose riding time!

Wow, this is the first I have heard bad of Dura Blue I guess they aren't what they used to be? My rommmate has had a set on his Banshee for years and they are still holding up great...

What would probably be the best axle for your buck. Probably getting ready to order a T DUB swinger so want to get a nex axle to. Also what do yall think is the best length for dune riding a minimal trails.

It depends on how much offset you have on your rims.
I wouldn't go too wide for the tight trails.
Most axles are adjustable, so you shouldn't have much problem.

i race mx with the x-33 and have had zero problems. from previous expierence on my 440 i found out the hard way that the bolts they use for holding on the hub to the axle is grade 2 (which is the lowest grade). so i swaped out the bolts on my 450 axle with grade 8 before it even hit the dirt. works great. the only bad side so far is it cost me around $500.

They sent me a rusted X-33. Yes, RUSTED!!!
They refused to replace it and insinuated I was
"trying to pull one over on them". I will try to post som pictures if I can. I am full on anti-Durablue now.
RPM is the only way to go.

I've seen a lot of broken Durablues over the past several years -- a lot of them broke when they definitely shouldn't have.
In fact, it got so bad during the 400ex era that they put a disclaimer on their website blaming Honda's swingarm design for the breakages -- I always found it odd that if Honda's engineering was to blame, why it only affected Durablue's axles and not Lonestar, RPM, or even the OEM axle.
X-33 - I've had one of these axles (actually still do on my old 250r), my advice is to stay away. I've seen them break as well, but the bigger problem is the "pin drive" setup that not only sucks to work on, but if you aren't really careful to keep the pins extremely tight, they will break at which time they will jettison your tire and wheel.
Also, I was skeptical of the weight savings claims they were making at the time so I weighed mine - needless to say, the savings weren't there.
On another note -- I've also had Lonestar and RPM axles, both seem to be quality products. Some people claim RPM is the only way to go, but I've not found the difference between them and Lonestar to be significant and although I have not had to use their warranty myself, I've heard from others that LS is easier to deal with than RPM when you do need to exercise the warranty.

I'd run an inch-and-a-half closet rod before I'd run an x-33.....

I hope this works, but here is a picture of how they sent the axle to me.
When I called and told them of the condition it was delivered they acted like I was trying to return a old rusted axle I had laying around and did not want to help or even consider taking a look at it.

lmao
that's almost as funny as the rusted axle dealy. Damn that sucks.
I have one major issue to consider before I buy an axle, other than length, is the weight. Lonestar, RPM, DB, G-forse, whatever. What is the weight difference between them all. Anyone can make a cast iron axle that won't bend but could you imagine the weight! My God! Anyway, I am concidering the G-force axle but if it's 10 pounds heavier then that's an issue.
Can anyone out there weight the axle they have for us? Not going off a website but really people. Love to get conparisons on all.
Edit: forgot this is the review thread, lol nvm

best bang for buck in my opinion is the RPM. I have the durablue and believe me, it's a piece of crap. not to mention cost me $750 AU here and can't afford a different one.
oh well
