So as some of u know I was looking at the PC for my pipe choice, but after finding out that I had insufficient funds to purchase it, I opted for the Rossier Eng. short can. I ordered the pipe from Mike at Ludas Racing. I got a great deal, and it was shipped instantly. biggrin.gif
When the pipe arrived it was well wrapped in pacing peanuts, and a lot of caution was taken to ensure quality delivery. I took everything out and inspected it. There were some instructions, a muffler, a mid pipe, and the header. I set off to install it.
I read the instructions and realized i needed to get some RTV gasket. So off to Kragen....... Taking off the stock exhaust took longer than installing the RE. Install was a snap! I took off the plastics for ease of install since it was my first time doing this.
The jetting was changed from the 48 pilot to a 50, and I kept the 185 MJ and the Hrc needle on the third clip. I started it up and the tone was a nice growl. I let it warm up and revved it up. it sounded good, but it sounded rich, and I realized the fuel screw was at 3 1/4 turns out rather than 2 1/4. 11doh1.gif
Ok so after I fixed that I decided to take it out to the desert.
I got out there and went for a easy ride. The pipe added the low end back that the HRC kit took away. Also I noticed that this was the first time that i noticed I could easily get up to the rev limiter in 4th. I was only in the desert for 5 hours so, I haven't gotten a complete feel for the pipe yet. but I can honestly say that power was added everywhere.
I will also try the 190 Mj to see what that does.
In conclusion lets just say that I was like this ooh4.gif when I hit the gas for the first time. I could pull blow sand hill this time in 4th instead of 3rd. so that's a plus. The only concern that I have is that the head pipe is about half of an inch away from the coolant bypass line. but I don't think that should warrant any problems.

I give the pipe a 10/10 and am very pleased. smile.gif

Any problems with it luke, just let me know.

well did another ride with the 50 piliot and a little leaner on the a/f screw. This thing runs like a raped ape! it pulls harder on the bottom then ever before! wow, I'm impressed.

There is no dough about it is a good pipe but these things are absolute unbearable to ride with. They are way to load and with noise restrictions getting tighter every day you are lamenting your choices to ride.

Its a great performing pipe, you can tell time was spent on it. However, as Hanson said, its limply too loud.

with the sparkey in, its not that loud. really i'm suprised how quiet it sounds. i think the turndown really quiets it up. the worst that happens is I get the long can also to bolt up.

i have a rossier full exhaust with large can and i am very impresed with it has a good sound to it, it makes good power and it looks great. toit is loud but to my friend dunesntrails450 it is extremely load. and i have finally found out were to get the most power for drag racing.
